Michelle Trachtenberg was spotted arriving to her hotel in West Hollywood wearing a casual tank and skinny black jeans yesterday. Am I the only one that remember when Michelle was, Harriet The Spy? Now she stars in one of the biggest shows on tv, Gossip Girl and dresses the part as well.

This will probably start a fight because so many Buffy fans don't like this girl but I always did. She could only play the part of Dawn as written and I thought she did the best she could. I always felt they didn't really know what to do with her after season five anyway. I think to many fans think she's Dawn and lose sight thats only a character she played back when she was what 15 to 17 years old? She also been really good job in her movies and TV appearances. The only 4 episodes of Gossip Girl I watched where the ones she was in. Plus she was really good in Mysterious Skin. The movie is really difficult to watch because of what it's about.

EVERY TIME I see her, even while watching Gossip Girl, I think of Harriet the Spy. I watched that movie over and over and over as a kid.
When I was a kid, I went through this brief period where I thought I wanted to be an actress. So I would take the LIRR into NYC and my aunt would take me on auditions. I auditioned for "Harriet The Spy" in 1995, which happened to be a big year for overalls (for kids at least, anyway). All of the kids (including myself) were wearing overalls at this audition, except for Michelle Trachtenberg, who was there, pointing and teasing all of the other child actors for wearing overalls and "looking stupid". It's always so weird to see her now on TV- maybe she's gotten nicer since childhood.
