Pamela Anderson Bans Close Ups

Well, that's one way to fight Father Time. You can get plastic surgery or you can just ask TV producers to never again show a close up of your face. For Pamela Anderson's new reality show she has specifically ordered cameramen to keep their fingers off the zoom button.
“Producers have been informed she has to appear in only flattering lighting – and close ups on her face are apparently a no-no. Pamela has been around this game long enough to know the pitfalls of a bad camera angle.”
Hey, if she has the power to control her image, why not? Wouldn't you do the same?

yes, i would, if i looked as horrible as she does...she has totally ruined her face with plastic surgery & her looks with hard living (drinking)...plus she wears so much make up she looks like a hag. i want to just hose her down, change the make up, fix her hair color, reduce the breasts & then take a look at her. when she was a lot younger she was a natural beauty.
I wondered why throughout the show it has that weird lighting... too much brightness! but whatever I'd do the same thing! hahaha

I would absolutely do the same thing. Why not? She has put in her time and now that she is aging and maybe not so comfortable, she should be allowed to make any demands she wants... if they accept it, it is obviously doable.
I wondered why the film seemed so blurry in her new reality show.

I really dont like Pamela + shes hypocrite. She came here in Canada(montreal) for the grand Prix and she was horrible, acted like a diva, didnt respect her contract.BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Sweetmeat, you won't be 18 forever. Everyone gets old. Just look at your mother and her mother. Remember this: One day, when your Pam's age (and highly unfamous except maybe for breeding a mewling brat or two), the poor bastard you manage to trap will trade your pear-shaped ass for a younger, fresher, and ahem--smarter woman. There seems to be an unusual amount of meanness today aimed at our fellow posters.
There also seems to be an unusual amount of hypocrisy on this board. So, it's okay to write mean things about celebrities but not the posters who write mean-spirited things about them? I would agree, she shouldn't be seen close up. LOL. Unlike some gorgeous, aging actresses, like Helen Mirren, Julianne Moore, Meryl Streep, etc. Pam is showing the greatly advanced effects of her hard-living, big time. It is not going to be pretty.
Actually, I don't think she's had ANY plastic surgery done to her face, just a lot of damage from sun exposure, but lots of plastic surgery on the rest of her body.
If only XTINA, Fergie, Winehouse, and Avril would bless us with no more close ups----Pam is like Lohans Mom with the baseball glove face.

Just because you are a certain age does not mean that is when you start to age. Everyone calls her an "aging" actress. Well everyone is aging whether you are 18 or 50. I have seen some women who have gorgeous skin and they are older than Pam Anderson. I have also seen some women in their early twenties who have a lot of lines around their eyes and the skin on their face is obviously aging because, I guess, they don't take care to wear sunscreen or they smoke or both. So the way people look has much more to do with skincare than with age.
She looks the ways she does because she has NOT has plastic surgery. She says she's "never going under the knife", but she doesn't want the camera to to show the natural effects of age on a woman. If she's trying to make a career out of being a beautiful woman, she might have to re-consider the surgery angle. She's not a rocket-scientist, she's a sexy woman. There's a deeper meaning to it all when you see her in a tight, minidress made for a 21-year old with the face of a 42 year old with fake blonde hair.
