Charlie Sheen is officially the highest paid actor on US television. The man makes… $825,000 an EPISODE while filming Two and a Half Men. I mean… wow. Who else made the list?
Per episode:
- William Petersen for CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – $600,000
- Mariska Hargitay for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (SVU)- $400,000 (Highest Paid Female)
- The cast of The Simpsons are also well-paid – each voice actor receives $400,000 per episode.
Actors aren’t the only ones bringing in the dough.
- Highest paid host: Simon Cowell for American Idol – $50 million per season
- Highest paid TV creator – Seth MacFarlane for Family Guy – $100 million deal for five-years
And who takes the cake? As if we didn’t know the answer already…The highest paid TV celebrity by far is chat show queen Oprah Winfrey her annual salary from her talkshow alone is $385 million.
