Those Are Tom Cruise's Jeans

Well, not the ones Katie Holmes wore most recently. But those rolled up boyfriend jeans are really Tom Cruise's pair according to her rep.
The couple's stylist Jeanne Yang confirms to Usmagazine.com that they are Cruise's Prps Jeans.
And Prps is ALL OVER THIS.
"Prps has adapted the style for women in the new fall collection as the Boyfriend jean," Kim Dillard, a rep for Prps Jeans, tells Us.
So, if I had to guess... I would say she got paid a boat load of money to get people talking about the Prps jeans. Best marketing I've seen in a long time. A commercial wouldn't have had the same effect.

You can be rich and famous for so many different things: a heiress (Paris), married to a nutjob (Katie), for going out and partying (too many to name here). It would be nice if more attention was paid to the people who earn it and deserve it. *stepping off soapbox*

I don't understand how technically they could be Tom's jeans when Katie is at least 4" taller than him. They would be shorts on her, not jeans you could roll up. Someone is full of hooey. Do they really think people are that gullable. Tom must REALLY be self conscious about his vertically challenged height to go thru that much trouble. Hey Tom, we know you are SHORT and we don't care, you would still be weird even if you were 6'. It's not your height that makes you weird(altho we know you wear high heels or lifts or whatever they are called). We love Michael J Fox, he doesn't make Tracy slouch to feed his ego nor does he wear high heels.

I was about to say the exact same thing. THere's just no way that they are Tom's jeans. She's much taller than him and she had to roll the jeans up. Even when she had it down, it went past her ankles. If Tommy Girl wears heels with those jeans I'd be more inclined to believe it!
Totally agree here...how stupid do they think people are?!?!?! Apparently very stupid. There is NO WAY in the world those were Tom's jeans - he is so much shorter than she is that there would be not be enough fabric to reach the end of her legs, much less to be rolling them multiple times. Yet another reason why these two annoy me so much.

I'm with you Vera...best marketing strategy ever! I knew there had to be a reasonable explanation for her wearing those jeans so much. No celeb in their right mind would be caught dead in the same thing twice! (Well, there are exceptions to every rule.)
Whew, now my life can go on! I didn't sleep at all last, just thinking about the mystery of Katie's jeans! Woo hoo! The mystery is solved! Now puh-leeze don't do any more posts about this!

very good idea at getting publicity for the jeans, but as i was reading blogs about the damn things, no one really seemed to like that style too much or katie for that matter. i dont think they will sell very well. not to mention that they sell for at least $250 a pair.

I can't believe anyone in their right minds, paid flack or not, would expect to be taken serious ever again after publishing such a blatant lie. Do all $cientos and their partners in crime think they're exempt from speaking the truth?

I believe the first time she wore them, they probably were Tom's jeans, the prps light selvedge. Then she probably went out and bought the other two pairs she has been wearing recently. Victoria beckham (Katie's friend) did the same thing, she wore davids and went and got herself a pair of the mens. Prps does not buy support of celebs, publicly many brands admit to this, and Beckham and Pitt both admit they are their favorite denim choice ever, and that they pay the $300+ price tag to purchase each of their pairs. As an owner of 10 pairs personnelly I can tell you they are an addictive fashion item. The finish is remarkable and unique, the quality is the finest in the world, and above all else they are comfortable. If your not a fashion follower, but like quality style they can't be beat. Maybe before jumping to conclusions about why she's wearing them you should go and try a pair of Purpose denim and find out why she's made them a new mainstay item in her wardrobe...I'm out

You are forgetting That Tommy Girl is several inches shorter than Katie, where as David Beckham is several inches taller than Victoria, so she could roll her husbands jeans where poor Katie wearing Tommy Girls jeans would probably only come down as far as her knee's. Not quite the same effect. Either you are from Tom's camp or math is not your strong suit.

Those jeans were ugly. And the ones that she has on in the picure above.. there is NO WAY i could wear jeans like that... oh my gosh. That high waist would drive me nuts. I have worn jeans below my belly button forever.... even before i was cool 8)

they are not toms jeans clearly, they are the new boyfriend fit for women that prps iscoming outwith. katie might have just gotten a few pairs early because of her celebrity. i thinktheylook great and prps going to bethe hottest jeans on the market soon.
I agree. those jeans are hotttt!!!!. I just cant wait for them to come out in stores so i can buy a few pairs of my own.
