Amy Winehouse Is Angry Over Bond Snub - Planning Attack

I am actually excited about the fact that Amy Winehouse is focusing her attention on something other than self destruction. Amy was originally set to sing the James Bond opening track for Quantum of Solace. Then a hundred other people were rumored to have snagged the position. In the end, Alicia Keys and Jack White took the prize. WELL, Amy is a bit upset about the whole thing and is threatening to release the song that should have been the opening track on the SAME DAY as the movie release just to show the bosses that they made the wrong decision!
She tells Britain’s New Magazine,
"I do think they could have waited a bit. If they want a worldwide hit I have them all up here (pointing to her beehive). I guess they are going for clean-cut and boring. When I do release mine and I am tempted to do it on the same day - this would be the bigger hit. If they change their minds I’m waiting!"
Audio fight to the death... ok maybe not. But it still should be fun to see who will come out with the better tune.

Im stoked she's not singing the opening track. She doesnt deserve it... nor is she worthy. You have to be able to promote the movie and sing in public to be awarded an honor like this.

If she had her **** together then maybe she wouldn't have lost the job. You can't be totally irresponsible and then expect to be rewarded for it. If she puts out the song and it does well, great for her but she can't really blame the Bond people for looking elsewhere.

Ah, sour grapes, Amy? If you had gotten your act together they would have taken your song. And they DID wait for her, Mark Ronson stalled them for a long time until he finally made the decision she's not fit enough. I have no sympathy.
It astounds me how this druggie is offered anything except a trip to detox. I hope that her "career" continues to decline, perhaps then she can focus on getting her act together instead of making idle threats and running rampant on the streets of London. Sad.
Seems like we all agree, Wino blew her chance! She smokes crack, snorts heroine, snorts coke and then expects people to sit around an wait for her to get her act together....she is one waste of tallent.
Yup even I have to say she blew that one and I thought her voice would be PERFECT for a Bond flick.
Alicia Keys can;t sing nor is her ass clean cut, but image is everything altho its just an illusion......Amy would have been the better choice public substance issues and all, that brawd got talent.AND IMO is a truer more vicious artist than A.Keys who is supremely over-rated

Amy Winehouse has like one hit single here in the us and she self destructed, she doesnt care, alicia keys stays true to her passion and she could out sing amy winehouse any day esp since ms winehouse smokes crack. I'm gonna cosign Tiffany. I liked Amy's music, but she's pure hot garbage now because of her personal life choices. I've been a fan of A. Keys since she came out and she's doing the dang thing right about now. Say what you want, but Amy Wino AIN'T AND NEVER WILL BE an Alicia Keys!

Actually I find Alicia Keys overrated, too. I went to her last concert and sorry, I wasn't impressed. I'm not saying she can't sing, I just don't like her latest album as much as her previous ones. Just because Amy Winehouse is a drug addict doesn't make her a piece of ****. Just look at how many awards she won compared to Alicia Keys. I think they are both very talented, they just make different music.
Sorry, but Amy Winehouse doesn't even come close to the amount of awards that Alicia Keys has won. 11 Grammies? Multiple MTV and American Music Awards? Tiffany was right on point with her comment. Amy Winehouse can never aspire to Alicia Key's greatness...at least not while crack is her highest priority. Amy should have been adult enough to realize that this situation is a result of her own actions or lack thereof and cease placing blame on others. She lost out on a tremendous opportunity and she has no one to blame but herself.
IF that report is true, Amy Winehouse sounds like an employee that just got fired for doing crappy work. "I'll show 'em!" "I'll blow them outta the water, they'll regret gettin' ridda me!" That's the crack talking........
too bad Winehouse lost that James Bond gig, she has a unique sound... she would have done a great job
