Carrie Underwood's new Allure interview has been published and the girl is
just looking for people she can trust. This has to be the WORST thing
about being a celebrity. You never know someone's intentions.
"You never really know why somebody wants to be
around you, or if they do genuinely like you. I wish everyone had a
label on their forehead so you could automatically tell their
intentions. Sometimes you just wish that no one wanted anything from
you."
The interviewer even brought up Carrie's ex, Tony Romo.
"We were both small town people doing very big things, and we relied on
each other, dealing with fame." And now? "I don't know. The phone will
ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer."
So he's still contactin her?! I bet that isn't going to make Jessica very happy. Poor girl doesn't seem to have very much luck in the love department. I wonder what kind of damage control is going to come from camp Simpson over this.

I wasn't sure if it meant that he actually still called her, or if it meant that IF he called, she might not answer..... You're right, though, I'm sure people could interpret this any way they want and it will be interesting to see what comes out of it. They'll probably try to spin it as just that, like 'she meant IF he called her, she wouldn't answer, but he doesn't call her!'
Don't be fooled. Ms Underwood knew exactly what she was saying and how is would read when she said it. She has talent, wish she wasn't such a bitch.

Kudos lady! I think all of the people on here who are "regulars" and not afraid to be "verified" wouldn't rip into someone for something that is so trivial. She got it changed pretty darn quick. I find it rude, and bothersome that some people have to come here and post things like that...nice try for whomever up there, but you are just asking to get ripped into by anonymous people when you defend (im thinking we may be next) ;)

As annoying as the ignorant layyyna is I think the best thing to do is to ignore them. They are obviously a lonely pathetic being that is feeding off your comments just like parasites do. Ignore the poor, uneducated child and they will go away.
BTW, I'm pretty sure Vera couldn't care less what you say (as well as the other people you have insulted and I'm sure you'll include me in that category as well soon). These people are actually able to post an intelligent and eloquent response, unlike you. Stay calm and ignore the ignorant passerby, people. Trust me. It's probably some fourteen year-old boy, anyway. Why get all bothered by someone who can't even type? Just ignore her/him/it. That said, way to passive-aggressively drop in the fact that Tony Romo still occasionally (supposedly) calls you, Carrie. I've never liked Carrie Underwood. She comes across as a total brat and I honestly don't really find her that talented or attractive. I voted for Bo!!
oh come on, carrie can sing bo's ass off any stage. clearly, even objectively anyone can see that. i ve met her, she is nice not a brat and is totally more talented that jessica. at least carrie didnt buy her way into the music industry and doesnt use her daddy to keep her career together. anyway, jessica is sloppy, cheap, untalented, and ugly. i heard her perform live. ouch at least carrie wasnt booed of a stage.

I'd boo her off a stage. And I definitely think that Bo was friendlier, picked more interesting song choices, and had a better personality. But you know how opinions are like a-holes -- everybody's got one.
Remind me again, Ernestine.....how many awards or hit songs has Bo had???? Like zero!!!!!! I mean, I liked the guy, but he's obviously not a star or a real talent, or you'd be seeing him or at the very least hearing him on the radio. I think he had one song I actually heard on the radio a couple years ago.
I think people are just jealous of Carrie's success, her talent and her knockout looks. She's a doll, plain and simple. Love, love, love her!!
Imagine being filled with such anger. It seems exhausting. In any case, I agree with Ernestine's comment that the remark about Romo was pretty passive-aggressive. Maybe to retaliate for the "Real women eat meat" shirt that Jessica wore. I don't know much about Carrie but she's cute and I do like her style. Enjoy your day kids!!

As for trusting people, it's got to be tough to be in her position where you are kind of thrust into the spotlight and you *need* to find people you can trust in a hurry because everything has come on so fast.

I saw Carrie at a Sephora and she was SO bitchy to a sales girl. It was awful. My friends and I...We were like damn, I'm taking your CD back to Walmart. She can't trust anybody because she's an arrogant Psycho. I SAW the beast up close.

I agree, it was a bitchy thing to do. This woman needs a publicist. She needs someone who will talk to her about how to interview correctly. ("no, no, we don't mention our ex-boyfriends are calling us because we sound like a cow who can't get over herself!")
Who teaches these people how to interview?
The best interviewees? David and Victoria Beckham--love 'em or hate 'em, they hands down have the best handle on how to give a good interview--to give just enough personal info away in order to seem approachable but not to say anything controversial or that makes them come across as jerks.
David, especially, who is interviewed so often (after every game he plays) has got it down to a science. No matter what ANYONE says about David (negatively) he NEVER reacts to it in the press. Someone famous can put David down and he will respond by saying what a great talent that person is. Whoever taught him how to handle the press did a GREAT job.

Carrie is very clever to say maybe I hang up which could mean I've had it with him and his behavior or it could say we talk occasionally which is the truth.
She was smart to put it out there like that it was a take this Jessica and dont jab me with your punk a** t-shirts anymore. Tony is still hung up on Carrie and Carrie still likes him but he needs to clean his image up a bit. She is a role model and cant have a boozer hanging out with Romessica. He needs to dump Jessica and get on his knees and prays Carrie takes him back.
What a shame it is to read all this. Some of you need to grow up and stop judging her. She is gifted and she works hard. Be happy she sets a good example.
Carrie is a self absorbed bitch. One day people will finally see her for what she really is. EVERYONE in her hometown knows how she is!
Oh right, and that's why they put up a billboard right outside of town that says home of Carrie Underwood.
I really don't think she meant it the way the media is trying to twist it. She was having a conversation about her exes. Keep in mind that the interview was done May 9 around the time that the t-shirt thing was going on. I imagine that he was trying to call her to smooth it over. Jessica said she had no idea that Carrie was a vegetarian but I find that hard to believe. It not only was blasted across the media for the past couple of years but Tony definitely knew it.
Just want to add this. Carrie is not the type of person to make things up about people. She is very serious about her faith. IMO, if she said Tony called, then he did.
