Ashley Tisdale Joins The Rolled Jeans Club

Ashley Tisdale has officially jumped on the Katie Holmes style bandwagon. Ashley was spotted on her way to a studio in Los Angeles rocking a pair of jeans rolled up to her knees. I’m amazed celebrities are embracing this trend… this was one of the trends I was hoping would never come back. You do have to admit though, she does look really cute.

What are your thoughts on this trend? Are any INO readers following this trend?

    That’s not the same

  2. TCrush says:

I think it’s not the same thing ! Hers are short, and Katie’s were longer. I prefer Ashley’s style =)

as a short person, i feel the need to educate people about hemming. rolling your jeans to avoid stepping on them is not an option. I also have to agree that Ashley’s look is not the same as katie’s, since Ashley’s pants are obviosuly cut-offs and she was trying to hide the (probably) uneven hemline.

  4. Maddie says:

Love it. It looks so comfortable and relaxed.
I think Katie could wear just about anything and look Great!
I love the rolled up jeans

I like katie in rolled jeans. she looks less of a stepford wife. as for ashley, i think it’s different. either way, I like the trend. I don’t roll my jeans (and i’m short, 1.63m) and i don’t think that trend is made for my legs, but they can pull it off.

Ashley’s look isn’t at all like Katie’s. Ashley looks like she is wearing a pair a big jean shorts that are rolled once or twice. She didn’t roll a regular pair of jeans all the way up to her knee’s. If she did that it would look rediculous! This isn’t something I would wear, I have never been a fan of Jean shorts personally but I think she pulls it off and looks quite comfy.

Baggy is coming into vogue because stick thin was just the rage. Its always the opposite with fashion.

  8. Embee says:

I like the baggy jeans look, and think most women look better in those than in the skin-tight bootlegs, flares or skinny jeans we’ve been seeing. As for the peg or the roll…I am actually becoming accustomed to seeing it again, but I did go to highschool from 89-93 so it may be my old age/dementia. Still, I think we can all rejoice at the prospect of less “whale tail” sightings around town.

I like this WAY better than Katie Holmes’ rolled leg style… I didn’t even like this trend until now! But Ashley makes it look so cute, I wanna go buy some right now!!

    ugh!!!! she looks hideous!!!!

  11. Mizz Thang says:

I love how everyone thinks this is a new “trend” and Katie Holmes “owns” it. Chicks have been rolling their jeans for years (this was popular in the 50s and 80s), and especially when leaving the boyfriend’s house wearing HIS jeans, to at least be able to walk or look presentable if going out for breakfast!

Anyway, Katie’s probably telling the world, “See? Tom’s not THAT short–I still have to roll up his jeans to be able to wear them!” Ha ha.

  12. dyinggiraffe says:

i think rolling jeans is acceptable if they are straight leg. it looks ridicuolus when people with flares or bootcut jeans roll them up.

Who cares about the jeans, where can I get those yellow flats?!?!

  14. Anonymous says:

she may or may not have had a nose job, i mean ‘deviated septum’, but i hope she doesn’t do anything else, she’s one of the more normal looking teenage celebrities. but that bag has to go!

  15. Nikkim says:

Looks like shorts to me…totally different from Katie’s man jeans. This never went out of style..Pegged jeans, have.

  16. Sweet Nina says:

I AM SO SICK and TIRED of seeing YOUNG teen girls wearing jeans that look as if they are painted on. You can see older men drooling over all these girls with their painted on jeans that show EVERYTHING. So personally for me, I like this look. It looks comfortable and casual. Just my opinion =)

Rolled pants mak e your legs look short

  18. aw! says:

Not becoming on anyone. It even makes the skinny girls look heavier and the look is totally sloppy.

in no way shape or form, does ashley tisdale look cute, amazing or anything inbetween. it has nothing to do with rolled shorts or jeans, she’s just not attractive in the least.

  20. Sprmcandy says:

Ashley is so cute, beautiful killer body. I could eat out her sweet cunt by the hour & die happy having done so.

  21. emily says:

i thank that ashley is cool and she rockkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  22. Ashley FAN says:

Ashley you are the best of the world!!

When are you coming to Spain??

My dream is to meet you someday…

  23. Jen C says:

I don’t like the whole baggy shorts look:( I do roll my full length jeans up below the knees, though. Kind of a cuffed capri look. I like the retro 50′s look and usually wear them with Converse lowtops & bobbysocks, or flats (no socks).

  24. Anonymous says:

i’m really enjoying this new trend….but why are they so baggy??????

  25. rachnextdoor says:

If those were full length jeans rolled up to her knees, the rolled up part would be way thicker. Just looks like maybe capris/long shorts rolled up a little bit.

  26. LN says:

I often roll my jeans. Don’t like how baggy they are. The bag is awful!

  27. Anonymous says:

J Crew started this trend!! It has NOTHING to due with Katie Cruise!!

  29. PardyHardy says:

Hers don’t look anything like Katie’s…but her’s do look totally comfy.

  30. Here in NZ there are a couple of girls in my class who do this atm too – although I am not sure if it is cos they want to look cool or because they are on the short side and it stops them from walking around dragging their jeans in our winter mud!

I really don’t care about rolling jeans up, but I firmly JUST SAY NO to pegging and rolling jeans. We have moved beyond 1989. Let’s stay beyond.
