Insufficient Evidence To Convict Christian Bale
So, in the end Christian Bale didn't have to plead guilty in order to get the charges dropped. Police have now said there is insufficient evidence to go any further with this and he's off the hook.
A spokesman for the U.K.'s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has now
explained their decision to drop the investigation, declaring there was
"insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction."He continues, "The police have been advised that no further action
should be taken against Mr. Bale." A representative for the
Metropolitan Police adds: "On the advice of the CPS we shall be taking
no further action. We will not be commenting further."
So that's that. I'm sure Christian is happy to be closing this chapter in his life.

I hope his family quits bugging him to give them money. I am sure he has already given them plenty. The sister was mad because he would not give her money and it started an argument. His sister needs to make her own way.

I am partial to Christian Bale - I developed a crush on him when I was fourteen and saw him in Newsies, I've loved almost everything he's been in since :) That being said, I STILL think this situation was way overblown and it sounds like certain family members were just throwing tantrums to get notice. Whether it was media attention they wanted or Christian's attention. Family drama is always just that, drama. I would never drag the cops into it if my sister pushed me in an argument. Grow up!

Good! I don't think any of that was his fault anyway. Familys are very complicated and sometimes you just need to seperate yourself from unhealthy people. Just because they are related dosn't mean they deserve to poison you for the rest of your life. He is smart to just stay away.
