Madonna went all out while picking the outfit she would wear to celebrate her 50th birthday with husband Guy Ritchie. Thigh high boots, black tights, short shorts and a set of gold chains that would make Mr. T fall to the ground... hey to the now.
What do you think about Madonna's look? And I love how she is walking out of Swallow Street Club with Guy's present in hand. If you haven't heard, he bought her a $100,000 Rolex watch. Gave a quote about it and everything:
"She (Madonna) wanted it for a while, but she couldn't bring herself to spend that much money on a watch."

She looks hideous, especially her arms.
GROSS! She has not been a guurrl for 40 years---but it nice that someone reaasures the old granny that she still matters.....to some. She has arms like a T-Rex---short, veiny, and useless.
She needs to stop. Now. Although she does look fierce for a 60 year old.
Seriously is she on roids and thats why her arms are like that? I have veiny hands and will live in long sleeve tops if my arms go that way as well.
My thoughts on these pics: she looks like she's trying too hard...........her arms are beyond gross..............the gold chains look tacky, not innovative or cool......................but, at least she's wearing something besides parachute sweats and sneakers. Last thought: Guy could do SO much better.
She needs to keep those arm covered at all times. They're distracting from her otherwise fabulous look!

After a certain age the trendy look must go, unless your name is Cher. Sorry Madonna, you are no longer a trendsetter. But happy bday nevertheless.

I think she looks great for her age. I wouldnt mind looking like her. I dont think shes trying to make a point. Madonna has been reinventing her look for so many years. 50 is not even old.
The veiny arms & hands freak me out. I have sort of veiny hands but those arms make me shudder. :(
OMG....she's trying to hard...for what look not sure,,,,,she looks like a drag queen, all gaunt/skinny/bony....fit is one thing but come on,,,,ewww look at her arms, veins bulging, yuck...who in their right mind would want to put a $100,000 watch on that arm...sorry Madge...you need to lay off the weights for a bit dear and get your female side back;)
Despite decades of promoting an image of not caring what people think, this woman is an example of all the insecurities we women can be subjected to, rolled into one. Obvious hair extensions, cosmetic facial alterations, obsessive exercising, skeletal body-frame, over-the-top outfit... Instead of looking good, (for her age or any other reason), she has ruined her looks, and has in fact drawn negative attention to them by verging on the freaky. Early in her career, she may have been seen as a role model for strong women, but no longer. We all have to get older, but this is no example of a strong woman accepting the inevitable in a youth-obsessed culture. As for those arms, usually the focus is on her upper arms, but her forearms are just as gross. Even elite athletes don't have arms that sinewy and veiny.
Eventually, very soon, she will reveal herself as the witch she is, she will embrace being a grotesque hag, and will somehow make women think that being evil and repulsive right into old age is "liberating." She'll be masturbating with a broomstick on stage. Mark my words. The things this woman has had sex with, and the things she does on stage, are enough to make the 16 or 17 sane people left in the world want to vomit. She has succeeded in making the word "Madonna," a word that used to describe the Virgin Mary, into an epithet that will go down with the famous whores in history like Poppea or Messalina. She should thank her lucky stars she wasn't living a couple hundred years ago or she would have been burned at the stake, instead of teaching little girls how to become depraved tramps through her videos.
Yea ... the arms are hideous ... but I'm only 40 and I wish I had a rocking body like her! Happy Birthday Madge ... Some of us still love ya!

If she were my mom, I'd be embarrassed. She needs to stop flaunting her body. It was OKAY when she was 20, even 30, but now? Geez, my mom has a better body than hers (and not all veiny and gross) and she keeps herself covered! I love Madge and am glad that she's proving for all of us that women can keep it going and strong, but put on some clothes.
there is alot to be said for aging gracefully - that is something Madonna has failed to do.
