I heard something about this great quote a while back, but now people are running it again. So in case you missed it...
Somewhere deep in my heart I'm rooting for a Lauren Conrad/Heidi Montag reconciliation. But then Heidi has to go and say something like this...
"There were rumors about a sex tape, but I had nothing to do with that. God knows the truth in all of this, and at the end of the day, that is the only thing that matters. Jesus was persecuted, and I'm going to get persecuted, ya know?"
Ummm, did she REALLY just compare herself to Jesus?!?

We live in a very strange society, that these two could be so well-known and made into celebrities. I remember when movie stars were talented and truly looked at acting as a job, something to learn about and work hard at. Nowdays, these people don't have to do anything but party and "pose".
