Amy Winehouse Back In Rehab

Amy Winehouse Back In Rehab

I've officially lost count. How many times has this been for Amy Winehouse? I want to believe that this time it will stick. But who knows if it was Amy requesting the submission. Odds are she was forced back into rehab and those patients don't typically take the program as seriously as those who willingly enter.

Amy chose a facility in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk right next to the jail where Blaaaakkkeee is currently serving his 27 months. That way she can hop on over and see him during visiting hours.

The star’s father Mitch says,

"This is a very good idea. If she can get clean and still see Blake it can only be good."

What do you think? Is there any hope for Amy?

She looks awful... and rehab is not going to help her. She obviously has a certain mindset and it would take a lot more then throwing her to rehab to solve all her issues. Good luck to her but I don't see it happening. She's always going to be an addict. Lets just hope she doesn't die any time soon... even though she looks like death in these photos.

I really think it would be a good idea to sober her up and then make her look at photos taken of her such as the one above. So gross! Who knows if rehab will work...doubting it.

There's no hope for Amy Winehouse. When you're that far gone it's extremely difficult to get sober. Unfortunately!

I am so so so tired of hoping the best for her. Im tired of stating, "i love her music, and hope she cleans up and doesn't die". She does NOT care about her life at all. I think she will check out of rehab within a few days. She is a wreck, and if she doesn't kill herself with drugs before her "husband" is out of jail - i see a double overdose, or Sid & Nancy situation in the future. NO, i don't want any of that, but i am so sick of defending her in comments and my mind. they need to put her in rehab, and NOT let her out. she doesn't need to visit him all the time, MAYBE once a month - that would give her something in her demented drugged up mind to live for. Strap her to a bed and make that broad detox!

i think there is always hope for anyone in this situation...i have known people who have brought themselves back from it, but its never easy. they still struggle with the same demons, but they are clean. she looks to be at deaths door, so its good that she is getting help again. she should keep trying until she gets it right.

I would love for her to get clean and fix her life but I am not hopeful. Time and time again people think she is getting better only to have her screw up again so what makes this any different? The fact that she is still obsessed with Blake shows that she is not ready to turn things around. I lover her music and would be glad if I were pleasently suprised but I doubt it. On the other hand you have somebody like Robert Downey JR who wasn't in much better shape and he cleaned his life up so it is possible for a person to come back from the abyss.

excellent excellent to point out Robert Downey Jr, you are correct! Maybe she will, or maybe it's her own given destiny to give up too young. I hope not. Now, for one last thing, instead of spending money on booze and drugs, while in rehab maybe she could spoil herself and have someone come in and give her facials? I mean - she totally has the money and maybe, just maybe her feeling like a lady and starting to look fresh again will add just a tad bit of self esteem? Because you KNOW she has none right now. It's utterly disappointing

unless they send her to rehab in siberia and wait for like an year, there will be no changes. she is in such a state... and the money is hers, so she can burn it however she wants. can't they take it away from her control?

I'm over it. She just needs to drop off the face of the earth for at least a year, do whatever it takes to get her sh&t together and then make a big comeback. We don't need to watch the transformation, besides I have a feeling it would involve a very reputable rehab hospital and being there for quite sometime in order for her to start the healing. I just don't think she cares anymore. I don't know if she has just given up or she is delusional about how bad she is and thinks all is ok thanks to her enablers. Anyway I think she will be out by Thursday.

I agree that there is always hope. Amy needs to find her rock bottom, that will give her the motivation to get better.

There is always hope. Always. However, Amy must want to be sober. She must want it more than anything else in the world. She does not realize that her life is no longer her own, the the drugs and alcohol rule her. Yes .. there is always hope, but sometimes, it has to be sought after.

Valarie, you are ABSOLUTELY correct. "Want" is the operative word here.

she looks terrible. She needs to be on lockdown. I have experience with a sibling. It is a VERY sad thing. There IS always hope. She needs to be away for a LONG time... a month will do nothing.

Believe it or not Amy is NOW a success in her own mind. She is living her ideal life.. I hardly think she hopes for any clean living rehabilitation.

Why does she always look like she rolled around in a pigsty? It would be so gross to be black with dirt ALL the time the way she is.

The sad thing is that she's hit rock bottom already and it didn't work. Looking at these pictures makes me just want to take her home, stick her in a bath and wash her and take her out of the lime light completely. She really needs to get out of London, especially out of Camden town, that's the worst place you can live in when you are a drug addict! Amy being Amy though, she needs a certain heartache to be able to write her excellent music. I hope she pulls through so there will be another album.

There is always hope. But it will only work if it is initiated by her, if she has hit that trigger switch of realization on her own, and even then, the hardest work is still ahead. Can it be done? Yes, by someone who finds the strength within themselves and the determination to turn themselves around completely. I hope for her that this is the case. If she doesn't have hope, maybe some of us still can keep that hope alive for her

She looks half starved and completely out of her mind in almost every picture you see of her. Why can't someone step in and get her some real help? Rehab seems to be a joke for her and staying in one where she has access to Blake next door for "support" isn't really in line with someone who wants to get clean.

Show this to all the teenagers you know. Drugs are a waste of time, they rot your body and soul and take away all your good years.

She's in her twenties...she should be enjoying singing and entertaining people, going to beautiful countries and sharing her talent. Instead, she's shooting up dope, cutting herself, destroying her family and killing her insides.

Drugs make you lose in life.

That's the frustrating thing about addiction. There's a neighbor in my buiilding who is an alcoholic, and he's on dialysis. People like Winehouse know doggone well, that their habit is killing them, but they're in denial. How many trips to emergency will it take? How many boos from the audience will it take? How long can her PR keeping telling the press science fiction? (BTW, the rehab story was retracted, it's not true, I'm afraid)

Also, you will NEVER find videos of the aforementioned V Festival concert (1st one), anywhere. Winehouse's people know how serious her condition is, remember how 'successful' the 2-week lockdown was? How stupid does Winehouse, her management and PR think people are?

There is always hope, but the hope has to come from Winehouse.
