Don't you hate when you forget to eat? I hate it even more when I forget to breathe! UGH - that can be soooo annoying right? I'd wake up on the floor after passing out and say to myself, "Vera, did you forget to breathe again!"

Come on people! OK your right it probably was the coke. haha, but then again I forget to eat all the time, I run a business and have a husband and 3 kids, so I'm always going in 5 directions, sometimes you forget or just don't have time.
Yeah, lying Kate, but I have a sister who was like that for years...She's better now, but she was AWFUL. She would forget to eat all the time. I think it was because she drank so much coffee she just never got hungry. And now I'm kind of like that, but it's 'cause I have 5 kids and a million things to do. It's easy to forget to sit down to a meal these days.
How can you forget to eat? Don't you get hungry or feel faint? I'll go with the drugs explanation.

LOL Too funny Vera! All models say this... I forgot to eat... it's the only thing they can come up with, they can't just say "I starve myself" because they are role models to so many young women (unfortunately)
What is this "nobody ever fed me" crap? Was she a newborn? She was a grown woman. She could have gotten food if she'd wanted it, no matter where she was or what time it was. She was a freaking supermodel. But I'll bet she knew who to call for coke, no matter what city or time zone she was in....
That was kinda mean Vera...I mean I think she could feed herself but when your busy and on a runway...you can't do anything.

I agree with you... That was a tad mean.
Even if Kate could feed herself most likely she would burn it off by running from country to country doing so many shows.
During the school year, when I commute 2 hours to get to school and then have classes back to back for seven hours I forget to eat...when your body gets used to going for a bit without food, you don't get as hungry...as bad of a habit as it may be, it's really easy to fall into that cycle

why do we give so much pressure to people who are overweight and underweight? I remember during my college years, I was exhausted between relationships and school work, to eat was painful for me as I have no appetite at all. I was told to eat constantly by my mother. Now I have a friend who has gained a few pounds since last years who says she couldn't stop eating and was afraid her weight gain is going to continue. From what I see, these are all perfectly normal circumstances for weight gain and loss.

i have had times in my life where this situation has occurred to me!!!
after having my 10lb baby boy, then breast feeding i remember stepping on the scale cause i saw my naked body in the mirror.
99lbs i freaked, that didn't "create" more time to eat though!
i think when your life evens out your weight evens out (if you are natch thin). my kids are grown and gone and i have been 117lbs for about 3 years now with no effort. looking at it this way though angelina is gonna be skinny for a loonngg time

i sometimes long to be so busy & rich that i can forget to eat...that is something so foreign to me.

Ok so no one here has ever been so busy that they have forgotten to eat? She's not saying she wasn't hungrey just that the food on offer was awfull and she was flat out travelling. I don't eat on planes either- imagine if you went straight from plane to hotel to show to plane. When exactly would you get time to sit and eat an nutritous meal? God give her a break
AND as someone who has been a model I can say, No you cannot get food you cannot demand anything, you are not treated very well at all. At best you are ignored at worst you are very often told to shut up and look pretty! Sure now she can get whatever she wants but when she started I am sure she was treated like crap like all models are.
