Jennifer Aniston To Work On 30 Rock

Well, isn't that a fun project! I can only imagine how many laughs Jennifer Aniston will have on the set of 30 Rock. I want Jen on a full time sitcom again. It was so nice to have her in my living room every Thursday on call.

Star Magazine is reporting that Jen has signed onto to guest star on 30 Rock with Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin.

The episode is expected to film in New York next week and will air this fall.  The source says Jen chose 30 Rock “because she thinks it’s hilarious and she is a major, major fan of Alec’s.”

The opportunities are endless. Can't wait for the new season.

she is kind of a one trick pony when it comes to films, so i think a sitcom is a much better fit for her.

Hmmm ... let me guess. I'll bet her character acts a LOT like Rachel Green. Hey, I'm just sayin' -- Jennifer Aniston doesn't have any range. She has a phenomenal shape, she dresses well, she has great hair. But she looks like a boy and she's not a great actress. Heck, she's not even a good actress.

Hallelujia - now she's doing what she's relatively decent at - TV. Girl needs to stay away from the movies!

That's great news! What's with the dissing of TV actors? There are some great, great shows out there (Weeds, Dexter, Lost, 30 Rock, Mad Men, etc.) and i'd rather watch those than some stupid Transformers 2 or whatever crappy movie is produced right now.

NO! This woman cannot act! All of her characters are just a variation of Rachel Green. This woman needs a new hairstyle stat. I cannot understand how people find her attractive? Her eyes are small and beady, she has the wierdest chin I have ever seen. Is it because she has an ok body? I don' know. All I know is that she can't act!

I think she deserves a little more credit than she gets for her acting. It's hard to break out of a mold - especially one like Rachel Green. She was seen in a popular role on one of the most popular sitcoms in history for what, 10 years or so? Even the Seinfeld cast hasn't truly been able to break out of their molds. Apparently the people who seem to think she lacks range haven't seen The Good Girl, Friends with Money or She's the One? I do, however, think she is better off on the small screen. Some people just are.

I've seen a number of films with Jennifer Aniston in it and none of the characters were variations of Rachel Green, quite the opposite actually and I remember having a hard time getting used to seeing Jennifer in a movie and her not being Rachel ;-) However, I think she is a fantastic comedy actress and can't wait to see her on TV again. I miss her. Brendita, I still watch Friends, too! Everyday. I know I'm sad, I just love it.

Aniston going back to TV? Please, God, say it's permanent! That ho REALLY needs to stay the hell out of movie theaters. If she doesn't co-star with a major male comedic actor her movies sink quicker than the Titanic. I put her just 1 step above Jessica Simpson in range AND talent. She needs to go back to TV where hair-flipping and hand-fluttering aren't 30 feet tall and only slightly less annoying. On the other hand - I can't imagine Alec Baldwin will be too thrilled to work with her. He did comment at the 2006 Golden Globes, when Brad Pitt was nominated for an award, that Aniston should thank her lucky stars that Pitt didn't expose her for the crap she pulled during their marriage and divorce. So I think Alec is Team Brad...oh yeah, and he's a big admirer of Angie's work, too. Poor old talentless, fameho Jen. Always walking in the shadow of the Jolie-Pitts. That's what happens when the people in the industry know the real score. You can fool the MVM, but the industry folks know the truth.

Good for her. Im not part of the Team Jen, but I had high hopes for her a few years ago. I wanted a fabulous- movie career-after-divorce for her, ala Kidman. She can still do it, just HIRE A NEW AGENT & PUBLICIST, Jen!!!!
