Lily Allen's Friends Survive Kidnapping!
Lily Allen looked AMAZING on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards held at the Royal Opera House in London yesterday. I don't think I've ever seen Lily looking this good, not to mention having so much fun doing it. What do you think about Lily's entire look?
In other news, did you hear about this kidnapping plot involving Lily's friend? Frightening!! The singer confessed she was left "terrified" after it became apparent one of her close friends had been kidnapped by thugs, who demanded money in exchange for their safe return.
Allen’s pal and a co-worker were allegedly held at gunpoint at their place of work in London before being taken to an unknown address and held hostage for a week.
The criminal gang subsequently contacted the pair’s families to ask for a ransom of $133,600.
However, British police burst in to the address and released the unharmed hostages.
And Allen is pleased with the way the police handled the ordeal.
She writes on her MySpace blog,
"Thank you to the Met for getting my friend back, we were all terrified and from what I hear you guys did an amazing job."

Interesting...but how about the rest of her evening at the awards? Lainey has a post about how Lily was *shmammered* and traded some barbs with Sir Elton John when they presented together, along with her bottle of champagne. She called him old, he outed her cocaine use. HA! LOVE it!
she wasn't smashed, ?? how could she walk in a dress that long if she was that out of it? (her assistant was off camera) and he didn't out her cocaine use because, she doesn't use cocaine! regardless of what the reports say!) Listen to the tape she says.. I don't know what your taking about, after Elton John says I can still snort you under the table!

Theres a very badly written article about Lily Allen in Paper, Mag, where she's quoted for talking about drug use, (she never said it) the article is so poorly thrown together, that you can tell these are not her words, theres a connection in the article between her alleged drug use, and her miscarriage, thats just so wrong! Lily Allen does not have a coke problem. In England a snort refers to a drink, (not a line of coke) And Elton John was rude! first because Lily Allen (who seemed more sober than he was!) started her introduction, when Elton made his remark!
