What Do You Think Of Fringe Boots?

What Do You Think Of Fringe Boots?

Carmen Electra and her boyfriend were spotted shopping at the Diavolina Boutique on Robertson Blvd yesterday afternoon. The first thing that caught my eye was her fringe boots. Fringe is really starting to take off and is obviously a big trend in Hollywood right now.

I've been doing a bit of shopping for Fashion Week and believe me, it's all over the shoe department. I'm not opposed to it. But I'm also not ready to buy a pair either. I am not the innovator. It always takes me a few months to accept something... thus missing out on all trends.

What do you think about this new trend?

I'm with you, I am not ready to jump on that bandwagon yet. I'm still not sure I even like them. They might have to grow me a while longer.

Its not even a new trend just something else recycled from the 80s as usual. The day something 'new' is trendy I will go and buy it, for the most part trendy always just ends up looking stupid. Trendy is flaky, classic is strong hence the fact that there are no 'classic' beauties or dressers on this board daily. All trendy and ridiculous, I much prefer people with their own fashion sense not just someone going and buying it cuz its popular right now. Buy shit cuz you like it and cuz it LOOKS GOOD ON YOU. Not cuz some whack 'celebrity' is wearing it. Like 'skinny jeans', how the hell can bitches think its ok to wear them? There are not enough skinny American women to wear them and if I see one more heavy girl in skinny jeans I will puke. Its really gross, cover it up no one wants to see that shit.

I like them, but it depends on what outfit you wear them with. Love the combo here.

I don't mind them on young women in their teens and twenties . . . but isn't Carmen getting a little old to be jumping on every trendy bandwagon? Some trends are meant for the younger girls, period. They look ridiculous on someone older.

no thanks, I'll pass on that trend. Perhaps a 16/17 yr old would look cute with them, or I may even get a pair if I decide to dress as Pocahontas for Halloween. Nah, that's overdone now.

I bought a pair of fringe boots last fall at NYC. I knew it would be a trend back then. It is ok for women over 30 like me to use trends if you still look good. I hate how some people try to tell women how to dress. It is ok to say for ex. that there is a place for everything. I won't wear my fringe boots with skinny jeans to work, I leave those for the weekend.

Just bought a pair I have had my eye on for a month, I had no idea they were so popular among celebrities until I started researching for a deal. Women can dress any way they want, age, weight, or location should not determine a womans desire for awesome shoes! Even though the fringe boot is a repeat, who cares I am so excited for old trends to come back. When I wear my new boots I feel fabulous and unique, they are my fashion statement for that day.

I think fringe boots are cute!!! Yes you just gotta wear them the right way w/the right pieces :)
i think they will stay in style for the certain style of a person. Like for hippie/7o's based style, it will look good
