If A Size One Is Fat... Where Does That Leave The Rest Of Us?

You know ridiculous comments like this is the reason why these young kids now a days have such a distorted view of beauty and health..such a shame

I never did like her- and a comment like that confirms why (even if she is joking- she knows it will be taken out of context)

I am a size 6 and all of a sudden I feel so huge.

I don't really think she is calling a size one fat - although she could have stated this better. I imagine that when you are a size 0 - to me she has ALWAYS seemed like a tiny little person - gaining enough weight to make you go up a size will make YOU feel fat. Adding 5lbs. to a 100lb. frame is a lot different than adding 5lbs. to a 160lb. frame. Why take this comment personally?

I think you ladies are a bit too sensitive and want to take this to another level. Im was a size four 2 months ago and now im a size 6 and i've been complaining to the world that im a fat cow. I dont think women who are a size 6 are fat at all. Its just that I personally have gained like 12 pounds in a short period of time and feel like a pig. Stop taking things out of context. If it were an actress you actually liked the comments would be so much different.

i think she is lying & is probably definitely pregnant...she seems like the type who would want the attention of making a huge announcement.

She is a very tiny, small-boned person...but she has gained a hell of a lot more than 5 pounds. That amount does not make your stomach stick out like that, nor does it show in your face. I think she is pregnant, and I think they're going to pull an Angie Harmon and deny, deny, deny, until they decide they want to make a big announcement.

She could have stated this differently as there are a lot of girls and women out there who could take this to heart and strive to be a zero that isn't considered "fat". And I agree, to her she probably seems "fat", just like most of us can have our off days and feel fat or think we're fat.

She's so puffy, how is she a size 1? Oh no someone in Hollywood gets to a normal size and *gasp* she's fat (not saying a 1 is normal, she doesn't look like a 1 to me).

It just depends on who is saying what. If it were someone you all liked, you'd be ok with what she said (which has been totally taken out of context, as usual). She doesn't have the responsiblity of making sure all overweight women or potentially overweight young girls manage their weight. If people want to idolize stars and take everything they say as gospel, that's not her problem ......... it just shows an incredible amount of insecurity that no celebrity can fix.

skinny minny...agreed. the "normal" and "real women" or amercia are most likely overwieght. we are a fat country. you can be "fat" and eat healthy and exercise and be "skinny" and be lazy and eat only fast food. however, i think being a healthy dress and pant size is better for someones health. i wouldnt say size 12 is unhealthy but close to that, yeah. it is better to be at a normal size and weight and eat healthy and exercise. and she was joking. get over it! and i know what i just said made no sense.

Being healthy has nothing to do with the number on your jeans. Different bodies require different weights. Although I must admit I made a face when I read Eva's statement, but that's the jealousy raging inside of me. I'm hoping young girls don't look at this and start questioning their bodies in a negative way.

First of all, that last picture looks like she gained way more than 5 lbs over the summer. She is only 5 feet tall. She has gained a lot in her midsection, and in her boobs and face. Personally, I think she is pregnant and just isn't telling yet .

As for skinny minnie's comment. That is just hogwash. At 5'9" and size 12, I am not overweight at all. If I were 5' 4" and a size 12 then I would be overweight. If I were to be a size five, which will never happen unless I starved myself, I would look anorexic.

Some people who excercise a lot have more muscle and wear a bigger size pant. Look at Venus and Serena Willams.

Look at Kim K. she is not a very big person, but her butt is and she would never fit into a size 1 or 2.

Like I said, that last picture really makes her look pregnant (unless she is wearing one of her costumes. Isn't she supposed to be pregnant on the show?)

Remember the pic of her in jeans last week? She's gained more like 25 lb. Why is she ashamed to say it? Such vanity!

I think she was being terribly sarcastic; I mean, paps had to keep asking her if she was pregnant all the time. They make assumptions on stomachs that are perfectly normal. After they do this, they turn around and criticize the modeling industry for idealizing stick thin women. I think after a few of these asinine questions from paps and journalists, she just called herself fat and said she wasn't a size zero anymore, to throw it in their faces for asking her so much (because she's sooo fat now, she's gained so much weight and is now over a size zero, the only explanation could be that she has gotten pregnant).
