Um... thanks Russell Brand. I was worried that she might get a little razor happy myself. LOL! The more I hear Russell speak, the funnier he is to me. Very quick witted and serious even as he is saying the oddest things.

The comedian is making the rounds to help promote MTV's Music Awards and everyone is asking him about one person... Britney Spears. When Lyons asked about what happened during the filming of the VMA commercials with Britney, Brand says:

“No, In spite of, it may have seemed somehow constructed but I assure you it wasn’t. Britney and I just met, I was a little bit late to meet Britney, because there was an Elephant, and I was obviously transfixed by the elephant and it’s terrifying vagina, once I dealt with that, all I mean was, looked at it and I understood it, I didn’t do anything-I didn’t say ‘Oh hello, cheeky…” I dealt with the elephant just by going ‘Are you alright..’ and then I came over to deal with Britney Spears, now there was no time for any script so Britney Spears going, ‘Oh I think you are Russell Brown.’ That was just her legitimate. Similarly, LL Cool Jay thinks I am called insultingly Russell Bland and uh Pete Wentz thinks I am simply a ba*tard.”

And what about the opening sequence? Russell insists that the pop star is not singing, but she will be acting out some sort of script.

"She's not serving canapés or doing a bizarre haircut on herself! She's not performing, but she's certainly doing [the show] in a professional capacity.

I might get the opportunity to pinch her back in revenge for the trailer. I know at some point I will try and pinch her!"

I'm actually a little excited about the whole thing. I am genuinely curious to see what she will do.
