Alec Baldwin Apologizes
Alec Baldwin lashed out the other day saying that NBC wasn't doing enough to promote 30 Rock and instead focused too much on other shows (Scrubs and My Name Is Earl) that were "done" and "cooked." He said that NBC was determined to, "wring the last drops" out. He's since apologized to both shows,
"My apologies to the cast and crews of My Name Is Earl and Scrubs. In
my frustration with NBC’s reprehensible promotion of 30 Rock, I took an
unfortunate swipe at both of those shows and that was not cool."
He couldn't leave out just one dig though.
"But, for Earl’s creator, Greg Garcia, who referred to me as a
‘psychotic’, I have only one question: Why are you Scientologists
always rendering these medical opinions you aren’t qualified to give?"
Scrubs might be on their way out since we've been hearing that both Zach Braff and Judy Reyes are leaving...but as long as Zach's still there the show is alive and kicking!
I like him, I've always liked Alec. I think he is sexy and he says what he feels. I like that he doesn't kiss Hollywood a*s. In Lala land everyone goes around kissing a*s, and telling each other how wonderful and talented they are.

I'm actually proud of Alec for being honest about his indignation in the first place, because he's absolutely right -- NBC does NOTHING to promote 30 Rock, whereas they're constantly trying to bolster piece of crap shows like Earl and that HORRID Deal or No Deal. 30 Rock is basically too quick and intelligent for the average television viewer, and it's as if NBC has just accepted the idea that it needs to kiss every redneck/simpleton ass and cater to the dumbest people.
You gotta love Alec Baldwin. While some would not utter what he does, he's usually right on the money. Scrubs is pretty much done and I've never bothered with Earl. Ernestine was right about Deal or No Deal and it's promotion, what a waste. Long may Alec continue to speak his brilliant mind. Love the Scientology quote!!

I agree with Alec because I've never heard of 30 rock until I heard about Jennifer being a guest star.
