Britney Spears Thanks Her Boys

Was anybody else happy to see Britney Spears looking so put together and happy? She presented at the VMA's with no surprise performance, unfortunately. But she did take home a few awards including Best Female Video. When she took the staget to accept it she made sure to thank her boys.
"I'm speechless. Oh, my goodness, thank you!" an elated Spears told the
crowd. "I first wanna thank God for blessing me like this. My family
... my two beautiful boys for inspiring me everyday."
How great that Britney seems to have made her family a priority again. Let's hope she continues down the good path that she's on!

She won video of the year last nite...that was prob the most important award.
I dont really felt she deserved it. I understood the best pop video...I knew she probably had that, but I felt best female video should have gone to Katy Perry who had the number 1 single for the ENTIRE summer w/ that song "I Kissed a Girl". And for Brit to win Video of the Year I thought was just RIDICULOUS. I understand that she went through a hard time and blah blah blah, but I felt every other nominee tried ALOT harder within the last year to further their music careers while YES Brit had this song on the air, but she was more busy getting her LIFE back together then worrying about having a good song/video. I just thought it was kind of a rip off.
No offense to Brit Brit of course because I'm SUPER proud of her pulling herself out of that hole, and she DID look BEAUTIFUL last nite...I just felt that video wasn't worth all those awards.

I'm so proud of my girl Brit!! I didn't watch, but she looks awesome, and sounds like she handled herself well. I stopped caring about the actual awards for this show about 5 years ago, but hey at least she finally won! See what loads of support could do? I never stopped loving her!!

i feel like she didnt deserve as many awards as she got especially not video of the year considering piece of me video was highly and obviously retouched. i mean woot, she's better and good for her that her life is back on track but seriously, the vma's seemed like they were doing the whole show for her. they started with her, gave her awards throughout the show and ended the show with her. it was all so totally rigged.
She looked beautiful for the awards.
I knew she'd win but certainly didn't think she deserve it. She did not put her heart and soul into it. She showed up 14 hours late doing that video and she barely put any effort into it. In fact, the Jive records threaten her if she doesn't show up they will give it to the younger hotter singer and she had no choice but show up. Britney was obviously too busy getting drunk and snorting cocaine. I think it's pretty pathetic. Her songs didn't even hit #1 so why did she get the awards??

I love Britney Spears and I am really hoping that she does make a come back. She looked great! but, I thought it was odd that she won in every category. It just seems like they gave her the awards out of pity. She had tons of great hits throughout her entire career, this year after all the things she has been through. They decided Piece of Me should win best video of the year? Come on!
It is a joke that she was given those awards. I cannot believe MTV would make it that obvious that their awards mean nothing. It was such a sorry, transparent attempt at reviving her stupid career. Why does MTV think that music needs Britney? It is doing just fine without her.

I haven't seen the videos so I can't comment but I saw clips from the awards and I'm so amazed and happy for her! She looks like she's finally herself again. I hope she continues to move onward and upwards to better things and get her boys back from that lame ass.

This is really a very funny statement. Why should we be happy to see a spoiled brat on a stage? Personally I hope she steps down, takes care of her children , and we do not have to hear about her again. Is she a ''hero'' also? Maybe we should erect a statue in her honor, because she stopped acting like a drugged b****?This is beyond obsession, just plain idiocy.
Her speeches were always about her sons, didn't she turn the boys over to K-fed? I think the vmas was rigged last night. She didn't deserve 3 awards for that garbage piece of me! She is the most overrated pop star ever.

The MTV awards are not meant to be taken seriously. That said, I don`t think Britney deserved the award, but she looked amazing. The important thing is to see she is doing better

i really dont care for britney or her music, but am glad that it seems shes getting her life back on track.... i guess she owes her life to her dad for saving her.
