Hey now! Kylie Minogue said recently that she's had such bad luck with men, she wouldn't mind giving women a try...one in particular...screen legend Tallulah Bankhead.
"I’d go gay for her (Bankhead). She was a fascinating and exotic woman. There was so much to admire about her.
She lived life to the full, maybe a little too fully. I want to
release the inner Tallulah in me. God knows I can’t get a man - so
maybe I should cross over."

I think she's probably on to something. Since she kicked cancer's a$$ she has seemed so strong and sure of herself...I'm sure her self-possession has been man-repellant amongst the inscure people in her trade. Carry on, Kylie, you are an inspiration alone or coupled!

I agree with Anonymous373. In trying to joke and be flippant about her lack of success with men, saying that maybe she should "cross over", she actually puts lesbians down. Is she insinuating that lesbians are just women who can't get a man? My understanding of being gay is that you have a genuine attraction to people of the same sex. Maybe some self-examination might help her understand her problems with men. Yes, she is an attractive woman, but after years of self-promotion, seeking publicity and the constant tabloid attention she fosters, she might not realize that a man may not want to be part of her media circus. Any relationship would be subjected to constant media scrutiny, and there would be little opportunity for the privacy the rest of us take for granted. Perhaps she's caused her own problem on this one...

Agreed with Anon - this was not said in this context etc. It was a response to a question on a comedy talk show - the bit about not being able to get a man was never ever said. The British media made this bit up completely and somehow now it's spreading all over the world. Total BS.
