Lindsay Lohan Says She’ll Never Go Back To Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is in the October issue of Marie Claire. She gave an interesting interview addressing things like Samantha Ronson, rehab and more.

When asked is Sam is the reason for her turn around:

"She’s a great person. And she’s a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that’s changed in my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So yeah, she’s a great person."

On Robert Downey Jr.’s life experience being similar to hers:

"He’s an amazing actor," Lohan says of Downey. "Look at people like that who have gone through shit and had to work that much harder to get to where they are now."

On rehab:

"I’ve learned. I’ll never go back. And it’s not a never-say-never type thing – it’s just, I know. I know."

On living in hotels:

"I didn’t want to be alone, so whatever I needed I could just go
downstairs and there were people there" – she now recognizes the
unhealthiness of that. "It wasn’t a way of life," she says. "Not very consistent."

On her dad:

"I don’t know what’s going on with it," Lohan says, wearily. "I haven’t
asked him any questions. Apparently we’ve been in the dark for so many
years. We’ve gone through enough with him. Enough is enough." As a
result, she’s shutting down communication with Dad for a bit – "until
he decides to be a grown-up."

I’m really cheering her on. I think she’s a great actress and I want so badly for her to succeed. ;)

I can’t believe I’m going to agree… but I am! I always feel like she’s an immature, annoying person, but when I actually hear her speak or see her act in films, I can’t help but pull for her. Like Britney, I think every young person in Hollywood with massive amounts of pressure should be given a sort of free pass for going through some very “trying” times. I saw the trailer for Labor Pains and it looks pretty good… I think she chose a pretty good comeback role. On a side note, I love her voice (speaking, not singing) – she’s got this raspy thing going on that has some crazy calming affect.

From the bit that I have read that sounds like a very mature interview! Deep down I think I am rooting for her. I didn’t realize that until just now. I really hope she keeps making mature and rational decisions and becomes a respected actress again. You have to look at famous people that are in there early 20s and then think about yourself at that age. I was in university and a complete party animal and so were all my friends. I graduated, got married, bought a house, and have a career. Lucky for me the party years didn’t unfold in front of paparazzi cameras! However, she has made some more extreme decisions involving drugs and DUIs so she was worse off. She seems to have learned her lesson though. I think she’s ready to get on with her life.

Deep thoughts by Jack Handy. Please, the girl is a light weight nit-wit.

She will never go back to rehab, she’s a closet druggie and drunk.

  6. Anonymous says:

she has the raspy thing going on because she has asthma and she smokes and god knows what other drugs she takes.
