Jada Pinkett Smith Feels Bad Asking Will Smith Not To Work

Balancing career and family life is always difficult.  To try and keep the family closer Jada Pinkett Smith asked Will Smith to take some time off after Hancock, but now she says she "might have made a mistake," in asking him to do so.

"It’s been tricky. We just moved into the new house not too long ago and he’s basically knocking walls down, he’s digging up stuff. He’s beating it to death… I told him, ‘Going back to work after Thanksgiving may be a good idea.’"

But, fortunately for her the couple may do some projects together,

"He decided he wanted to focus on developing projects for the family… so now it’s all of these excruciating meetings about these movies and projects for the family that he wants to develop. But, you know, that’s a beautiful thing that he wants to do that."

I don't know about family projects.  It seems like a lot of the time when real life couples work together films end up bombing.  It's the over-exposed effect. Think J-Lo and Ben Affleck in Gigli.

Ben Stiller and his wife were really good in Dodge ball but because they played rivals instead of lovey dovey crap.

i think it is a great idea for him not to work. he is so talentless, bland, uninteresting that I have no clue how he is so in demand (perhaps due to his minority status and friendly appeal). Sick of his roles of the savior of the world. He is like a male Jennifer Aniston or Kate Hudson that play same roles over nad over again.

where does it say that she feels bad asking him not to work? he's probably getting on her nerves so she ask him go away and find a job so she doesn't have to deal with all the banging on the wall and dealing with the mess etc.

Surely you could have found a better pic than that? Like the one snapped right before she stuck out her tongue or right after she pulled it back in? I like them, though. And Will Smith is about as charismatic as the bland Tom Cruise and once-handsome (now painfully plain) Brad Pitt and plays in about the same range of roles (Hancock and Pursuit of Happyness were *very* different).

yeah, yall need to stop hating on Jada and Will, its her man, let her stick her tongue out if she wants, he must like it, thats why they're still together. Too bad he and she just bought a 7.5 million dollar house without his minority status, bastards! and yes is so uninteresting that he is a millionaire, thanks to you! lol
