Rachel Zoe Learned To Roll With The Punches
Rachel Zoe had a very public falling out with Nicole Richie and since then, we haven't heard much from or about her. Well, the tide is a changing because Rachel snagged her very own show and I'm going to watch!
When Catt Sadler from the Daily 10 asked what Zoe hopes viewers take away from “The Rachel Zoe Project,” Zoe says:
“I think that what people don’t understand is that it is not as simple as let’s go find a pretty dress and let’s put it on a client and call it a day. I think they need to understand that there is a lot of work ….it’s not saving lives, it’s not brain surgery but it is a businesses and it’s one that is not as easy as people think, there is a lot of politics involved, and there is a lot of sort of taking care of people.”
Zoe takes the negativity that sometimes comes her way in stride:
“I don’t feel like I am a celebrity nor do I really want to be… So, the answer is I have had to develop thicker skin over the past couple of years and try not to sort of cry all the time and when someone says something nasty. Try not to quit the minute you read something, and say ‘You know what just stay focused and keep working,’ and keep doing what I do.”
Zoe comments on stars with style. Her favorites are some of ours - Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson.
“Cameron Diaz has brilliant style and anything that she wears even if it’s a ball gown you know becomes her own, Kate Hudson she had brilliant style. I think, you know it’s funny I sort of think I am always going to go to that moment when I first moved out to LA and I started working with Jennifer Garner. We had that moment I think it was 2004 Oscars… Jen looked at me and said ‘I have never felt more beautiful in my life.’ You know when the client says that, that’s when I say I don’t care what anyone says, this is it.”
Hmmm... I'm not sure what I think of the dress. She definitely has the lollipop head thing going on, though- eat a sandwich (or two, or three)!
I watched her show, I love it and she is awesome!
She has so much style and good taste. You can only hate her for being so fabulous and able to buy anything she wants.
She sucks. He look is a big dress covering a skeleton bag of bones body. How forward thinking of her.

She must have been out of the spotlight to get work done. Her forehead looks so unlined where there used to be a grand canyon running thru it before.

I sort of like the show but I am a reality-show junkie so my opinion probably doesn't count. It is fun to watch, though and she actually seems not as mean as I would have thought. I really don't think she looks too thin but she sure did need to do something about that forehead, which she has done with great results. I wish I knew everything she had done (for future reference, ha!). She does have an amazing sense of style and you can see where so many stars (MaryKate, Nicole) got their style from.
She is too short to wear long dress. It makes her look like a lollipop. Is she 35? I feel sorry for her, with all that mony, she cant make herself 35,rather make herself 50th.
I LOVE the show and I think she is great. She's incredible at what she does, she's passionate, smart, and clearly her abilities have brought her the success she deserves. She works very hard and should not be knocked for that. To all the haters, your comments were made by Perez Hilton not you. We've heard them before...until you can make an intelligent, validated point, save everyone the time of reading your useless post that is not your own opinion. As far as her skin looking great, who cares if she's had work done? She lives in freakin Hollywood. Everyone you read about on this website has had work done, many far beyond the extent of Botox. If you need to trash talk about people to make you feel better about yourself, find someone in Hollywood who deserves it, or at the very least, come up with a reason with some originality.
