Dannielynn Still Wears An Eye Patch
How ADORABLE is Dannielynn? Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl has turned two and snagged the latest Us Weekly cover. Larry Birkhead gave an exclusive interview and spoke a bit about how his baby girl is growing up. Sometimes he just sees Anna when he looks in Dannielynn's face.
"When I take pictures of her she likes looking at them just like her mom did. Some days I think she looks just like her.
After her successful eye adjustment surgery, the doctors still feel Dannielynn should wear a patch to ensure things progress properly.
"The surgery went very well. We still patch her to make sure the eyes stay equally strong - they’re still adjusting. She wears the patch a couple hours a day but she fights it, so some days she doesn’t wear it at all. There’s a chance she might have to have another surgery."
Birkhead even admitted Smith’s death and Dannielynn’s condition have left him constantly fearful:
"I’m so paranoid medically with what we’ve been through. If she has a sniffle: straight to the doctors. Anna had a fever when she passed away.
Dannielynn is turning 2. Boy, how the time flies.

Well, no matter what a sell out Larry is, you can't deny Dannielynn is a beautiful little girl!
She is a beautiful little girl and she seems to be a very happy child that is very well taken care of. The press will hound them anyway because of who her mother is, so big deal if he lets the world see her every now and then...and if he makes something off of it, good for both of them. Personally this is the first time I have seen a pic of her since she was born so I seriously doubt he is just parading her all over the place for money. It is interesting to note that the negative comments wouldn't be here either if the same people being negative weren't taking a peek themselves to see what she looked like. I would be more worried about her reading all the negative comments that are left online about her mother and father when she is older and using a computer.

Larry has to pay off a huge lawyer bill...so a cover shot or two and exclusive interviews with ET and The Insider should pay off his next couple installments. He's a scum for using this kid this way, but it isn't like I didn't see it coming.

She knew who the real Larry Birkhead was. "I think he's after money and fame." but people wanted to fall for Birkhead's little "aww shucks" act instead and it turns out that Anna was 100% right.

How was she 100% right? Honestly, you don't see him whoring her out all that much. What money does he make? He has legal fees to pay, and I'd rather see him do this, put her on the cover every once in a while, and know that she's at least not starving. I don't think I've seen her since the eye surgery, which was months ago. I think he does a decent job of keeping her out of the limelight. Not to mention the fact that even if he's awful, he's the lesser of two evils. What if Anna were still alive to care for her? please! And Howard K. Stern? Talk about a money- and fame-monger!!! Larry seems to be raising her alright so far, so I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt. Good for him. And she's a gorgeous little girl.
You know, she's a cute little girl. But she's just that, a little girl. I dont know if he made a deal to have her in mags like this, but it just seems wrong. It does feel like ppl these days are selling out their kids (either for their own profit and for the better good). But these kids are not celebrities. Let them be anonymous for their safety. I almost bought the People mag with the twins of Brad and Angie but I had a change of heart because it was too much exploit it seemed. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I just can't help but worry for kids these days.

Anna had a fever when she passed away??? So that makes him paranoid, does he need to be reminded she also had her body loaded with different meds......... hopefully he doesn't already have Dannielyn on them..... He's a weirdo!! She is adorable, hopefully she stays sane!!!!
"we have barely seen them in the spotlight at all"....I suppose if you avoid television, magazines, blogs, TMZ and the like and just listen to NPR all day then yes Dannielynn has not been in the spotlight. But if you are a normal person and glance at the newstands or occasionally watch E! or Entertainment Tonight then you are kept abreast of every time Dannielynn is out in broad daylight. Make no mistake, Larry is lining his pockets every time Dannielynn has her photo taken, so isn't it convenient that he claims she likes looking at pictures of herself? Cute kid but creepy/greedy/irresponsible father.

Actually, I think he seems like a good dad. It's obvious she is well taken care of. Also, my friend recently moved to Kentucky and when they were visiting to house hunt, they ran into him and the baby at the hotel they were staying at. He didn't have a nanny or an entourage or anything. Just him, the baby and one other man.
The public is curious. He parades her out every now and then and then you don't see them for months. It's no worse than JLo pimping her twins out to the highest bidder. Or the Jolie-Pitts. Anyhoo, she is a beautiful little girl. Hopefully the future is better to her than it was to her mother.
I've had 5 of those eye muscle surgeries, they're horrible! I'm 29 and still have to patch...poor little thing!
By all means, Larry, let's take every possible opportunity to keep this poor child in the spotlight, even if it's nothing more exciting than her second birthday. It's not enough that her mother was a drug-addled bimbo who accidentally killed herself, and that there will always be confusion regarding her paternity. This child should not have the opportunity to grow up in a peaceful, stable environment, far from the glare of the media spotlight, where she might actually have a chance to develop into a productive, normal young girl. No, because that would mean Larry himself would have to fade away.
She is adorable! Really pretty! You can tell she's going to be stunning when she's older.
