Mary Kate And Ashley Olsen's Neighbors Are Not Happy
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen apparently aren't very good neighbors. Residents of the West Village block they live on are upset because MKO and Ashley disturb the peace. The girls always post bodyguards outside their place and sometimes when the twins arrive they'll even make other residents of the building leave the stoop so the starlets can climb the stairs in peace. One upset person say she's sick of their "military presence," and stated,
"They are disruptive, intrusive and totally disrespectful."
Other celebs have no problem fitting in, but the Olsen twins are always conspicuous,
A block resident told us two giant GMC Denali trucks are parked
outside the townhouse every night, with hired muscle who keep the
engines idling for hours at a time. "You would think there was a
government operation going on," the resident said."It is a peaceful, quiet street," the source added. "Plenty of other celebrities around this block [Sarah Jessica Parker, Liv Tyler, Gisele Bundchen and Julianne Moore] are good neighbors and blend in with the neighborhood - but these two are invaders."
A rep for the twins says,
"If there were significant issues, you would think that the neighbors
would address Ashley or Mary-Kate directly, rather than calling the
media."
It's funny that they call so much attention to themselves like that when they're always trying to hide from the paparazzi.

Or maybe these people are just being stupid and makeing up stuff to get them to move out of the neighborhood.

I'm sure if they could get through the stupid military-type security they WOULD address them directly, but since that obviously hasn't worked they're trying other resources, ie media.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sure they WOULD address them directly if it were possible. If what they have to deal with is true, the Olson Trolls aren't exactly making themselves accessible, are they? How annoying. I'm sure none of the residences in that building are cheap. How long would you put up with that if you are paying that much money to live there?

Idling your vehicle for hours? Isnt that illegal? It is here in Toronto - "The City of Toronto has a by-law aimed at reducing unnecessary idling. It limits idling to no more than three minutes in a 60-minute period" Isnt it funny the parts of a story we pick up on?

It's illegal here to leave a car idling for more than four minutes. Too much pollution! Gross!

They have no right to make people move off the mutual stoop, I wouldn't move and if they tried to make me by force I would sue sue sue. Not for the money but to show them that they can't treat people like that, I'm not sure that the lesson would get through though.
I wonder if the security is polite or threatening, if the latter I would take them to court. I mean isn't that breaking some kind of law in the United states, it's the land of the free right? Or is it the land of the free unless you're unfortunate enough to live near these twins.
... If this is all true anyways, which is yet to be proven although I wouldn't doubt that it is in fact the case.
I don't even know why those little ugly things get any coverage!! If the press were to leave them alone, we all could hope they would just go away. They were lucky their parents were able to create all that wealth while they were young . . . They can't dress, but it sure seems as if they know how to pick up superb pieces of real estate.
Why don't they just buy an entire building?? They have the dough. Then they don't have to push people out of their own common ways?? That is so rude. I would not move and I would call the police if any tough guy tried to move me. They have no right- they live there and paid for their places as well. The idling is not good for the enviroment!!!!!!!!!Those girls should know better. They sure seemed to grow up to be unkind people. They do not appear sweet at all!!!!!!!!
