Vera your husband threw you a surprise party for your 30th? that is so sweet! I think my birthdays kinda stopped being very important when I had my first child…. my last was the worst though I got to watch my husbadn play Final fantasy all day… I was so sad =(
Happy (10x) Bday too Alexis. Glad to see her more often on some blog sites w/ soo rare to happen before. But its just a good thing coz she got at least 2 movies on her sleeves. So I think she really needs to be seen more often than before. Thanks for the post & hoping for lots & lots of it!

I can’t believe she’s 27! I always thought she was younger than me. Never done too much for my birthday. My husband takes me out for dinner (and I pick the same Indian restaurant every year because it’s amazing) and my mom usually makes me dinner on the weekend and I see my family. I feel bad because I dragged my birthday gift out of my husband this year. There are these three little matching paintings that I have been in love with all year from this local artist and I pressured him until he admitted he was the one who bought them even though he kept saying “I’m really sorry, I went to buy them and they were already gone” I am bad. I hate surprises. I don’t snoop for gifts though…I just know how to get info out of my husband.

My twenty-first birthday is November 7th and I’m having a Gatsby-themed end of prohibition party. Because I don’t drink, however, all the drinks will be mocktails. There’s going to be a “speakeasy” and a dance floor and it’s going to be awesome.

Her actual b-day will be on the 16th. And she just celebrated it in advance… she soo shy & private, probably some closest friends or movie associates threw a party for her – and why not… as she soo deserves it.

I agree… kind of “surreally amazing”. Blake Lively also celebrated her b-day few days ago. But she’s the one who’s more fitting to looked a 27 year old while Alexis could swap her age anytime at being just 21. She really got that great genes huh!
