Jennifer Lopez Throws Marc Anthony A 40th Birthday Party

Jennifer Lopez threw a huge 40th birthday party for husband Marc Anthony at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan Sunday night. Walking the red carpet were best friend Leah Remini, Dita Von Teese, Paulina Rubino, Veronica Webb, and Brooke Shields.
Jen and Marc came in looking like it was their wedding day. Marc wore a grey tux jacket while Jen opted for a white flowing gown. However, when the party was over, the pair left the hotel in different gear.
Did any NYers stalk? How was the vibe if so?

amazing! and she just did a triathlon!!! that reminds me of the time Katie Holmes ran the NY marathon then stepped out in heels later that night.

LOL at you giselle. Katie Holmes isn't even one-third of the super star Jennifer Lopez is. The only reason people give a shit about her is because she's married to Tom Cruise. And you talk about hype, are you kidding me? Jennifer completing her triathlon has been much-anticipated, AND caused much media hype. That's all I've been hearing about all day and for the past few days in the news and on the internet: J.Lo competing and completing the Nautica Malibu Triathlon! It's been everywhere. Oh, and at least J.Lo actually competed in her triathlon. I mean, wasn't it rumored that Katie Holmes faked participating in her marathon? What's so exciting about Katie staging her race???? Hmmmm, I think I smell J.Lo envy.
I like them both and they are good friends. J-Lo was there for Katie at Italy and Bev Hills on their wedding celebrations. I agree though while J-Lo is hyped Katie's marathon was extra hyped. It was all over tv,internet and the radio. On people's site it was the no.1 headline.
According to NY Daily News Pegged Jeans have increasing sales and they are thanking Katie Holmes.
like every body expected eve everyone in the Hollywood spot light that know and was invited at the 40th b day of Marc Anthony was there . Paulina Rubio with all that money didn't bring a gift how sheep. Spanish artist like Luis fonsi , adamaris Lopez , fat Joe ,ext didn't wanted to say anything a bout gives . maybe they were limberest that there so rich and sheep they just whent to eat .. and talking about eating at least they're proud of were they came from serving arroz w/ gandules y pernil some boricua food ,,, p.s give them a break that the longest that jlo had a serious relationship .....

so i went to the party. there were a lot more celebs there that werent mentioned. like kimora lee simmons and her man from the movie blood diamond (dont know his name) also Donatella Versace and her boney-ass daughter. as well as some spanish novela actors, salsa legends, fat joe and swizz beatz ..DJ cassidy was the DJ for the party..it was all 1940's cuban casino themed, they also had performances. they had a live salsa band with those copa cabana chicks dancing w-the fancy feathers on their heads..Dita Von Teese performed she was amazinggggg! and JLO also performed i have no clue was she was attempting to sing but her dress was gorgeous it was all black tight to her knees and then it was loose like mermaid shaped and it had a small trail ..which she had some lady carrying it around for her throughout a portion of the party..they had a casino room with play money that had Marc's face on it very cute. everything was well detailed the napkins had "MA" on it for Marc Anthony the cake also did. they had a cigar bar w-men rolling cigars on the spot. 1 of the alcohol bars said "Emme's" over it in pink like the baby's name i didnt see Max anywhere maybe i missed it.. overall the party was extravagant! no cameras were allowed and it finished around 3 am.
I was there as well, really lavish party indeed, I love how they had the spot turned into a 40ies Cuban salsa / casino themed place. Got to talk a bit with Leah Rimini, she's such a hoot, but boy, what a foul-mouth! almost seems like she can't utter a sentence without dropping the F-bomb. Angelo was there as well, looking super sharp and like Marc, had a fresh hand rolled cigar that he got from the cigar bar. Later that the night Jennifer also indulged and was seen walking around a cigar in hand, looking very at ease with it, and then sat down with her mom to smoke it for a bit, quite surprising... I had no idea she did the cigar thing
