Megan Fox Is Apparently Not A Miley Cyrus Fan

Looks like Megan Fox is glad that she's not part of the Mickey Mouse Club group. She recently slammed Disney in an interview for how they market little girls like Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.
"They (Disney) take these little girls…teach them how to sing and dance, and make them wear belly shirts, but
it won’t allow them to be their own people. It makes me sick."
Megan is a little harsh, but what do you think...does she have a point?

The belly shirt comment is funny because she is wearing a belly shirt. In my opinion belly shirts are a huge faux-pas.

What belly shirts? Who wears belly shirts anymore, except her of course. I don't ever see the "Disney girls" wearing anything like that when they're doing Disney related stuff.
But belly shirts aside, they do mold them to be acting, singing, dancing machines.

I totally agree. Disney is a money machine that exploits kids, via stage parents who are greedy too. Disney = trainwreck waiting to happen. They suck kids dry, take the childhood, and then move onto the next when the wreck hits the wall. I have a hard time counting any child stars in the last generation who weren't a mess from it. That is so Raven girl is the only one who isn't tabloid fodder, or anorexic.
I like watching old Disney movies, when they don't cap the kids teeth and give them pagent hair and full makeup. Ever see the original Herbie the Love Bugs? the female love interest is missing a tooth! It is wonderful that folks looked real. Now, everyone is plastic, and kids want to be the same. It disgusts me.

she definitely has a point... child star should be protected ... actually kids should not be exposed and should not sing or make movies... but i understand that they exist so they obviously has to be in a movie...
but disney is really cruel ... they really take kids, turn them into a phenomenon and then when they are over (or too "old" for them) they put them in the adults world on entertainment ... and then they obviously don't know what to do .. so they make stupid choices (lindsay lohan docet)..
how long will it takes before we see miley cyrus drunk or in rehab or in a car crash?

I don't think she's right at all. How can we blame Disney? These girls WANT to be stars - they want to do this. And their parents let them. Disney's biggest fault is skyrocketing these kids... it's up to them what they do with that. Someone used the Lindsey Lohan example above, but didn't Lindsey do that to herself?? Hilary Duff was on the same fast track as Lindsey when they were younger and Hilary chose not to get too heavy into the partying and, well, she just made smarter choices overall. When are people going to be responsible for their own actions instead of blaming the industry, corporations, paparazzi, etc etc etc. ???

Really? You think getting a little thinner and some bad veneers constitute "trainwreck mode"? She was skinny for a while there, but not totally anorexic looking. Anyway, my point was more that she had the same opportunities but made better choices. Hilary's more of a role model (if there are any in H-wood) than Lindsey with all her drinking, drugging and sl*tting around.
Umm, she apparently IS a fan of Miley Cyrus, the individual - as opposed to the indentured Disney creation. Seems more to the point that she is not a DISNEY fan.
PS - Disney merely panders to an audience that denies, or at the very least, desperately attempts to stall the inevitable sexualization of young people. If the Disney demographic were not sensitive to sexual material, then you can BELIEVE that the disney execs would probably not even hesitate to put Ms. Cyrus and her peers on stage in a rhinestone encrusted Mickey Mouse corset and matching thong.

She's dead on with her comment with the exception of the fact when referring to Miley - apparently they didn't teach the kid how to sing - she's horrible!!!!

Whoever posted this is really lame. The comments indicate Megan Fox is not a fan of disney - she didnt really say anything personally negative about miley at all. There are plenty of really funny sites that are on top of the info when they post as opposed to throwing up pretty pictures and asking everyone else what they think because they are too brain dead to come up with anything relevant.
Megan says this all while wearing a "belly shirt". That's a case of do as I say, not as I do. Whether she realizes it or not, Megan influences others w/her shirt. I see no big deal w/her shirt...but Megan is complaining about it. A contradiction for sure.

I don't know, I think Miley truly has talent. It is starting way too young tho with the paps constantly in their face, too much fame. It goes to their heads which is how we end up with burnt out, drug addicted 20 yr old stars.
I don't really see how this statement by Megan makes her not a Miley fan. She's talking about the industry and nothing about Miley's talent.

There is not much this one can say that I would pay attention to. She has nothing going for her - she has even said the director told her not to do anything just stand there looking pretty - so she must reply on outrageous comments to get people to notice her.
She really does have a point...
I dont care....i wish her and Miley Cyrus, and all the other people that are so full of themselves would just go away!!!!!
