We Wii as a family and it’s the greatest thing to do in the PM after dinner to have some fun with the kids. I don’t let my children watch television during the day. Only for one hour in the evening. Other than that, we don’t even acknowledge that box is in our home.
Now, we Wii instead of watching cartoons and our latest obsession is Active Life: Outdoor Challenge by Namco Bandai. My daughter literally broke a sweat playing this game last night!! It was so fun! You can race one another doing a variety of activities – all of which are awesome.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting your exercise from a video game. It’s the next generation Jane Fonda work out tapes! We don’t need to be obsessive compulsive dieting gym rats to be considered healthy, we just need to be active in our lives. And if it means I get to spend some quality time with my family and friends while having a blast on my own schedule, then I say, “All hail the Wii!!!!”

I love my Wii! Since I started using my Wii Fit, I have lost almost 13 pounds! It makes exercise fun. Actually, it doesn’t even seem like you are exercising. I only downside is that the Wii Fit doesn’t have any games we can do as a family. This game would be perfect!!
