Kylie Minogue Raising Money For Abused Children

Kylie Minogue has such a big heart.  She has just announced that she'll be supporting a huge campaign aimed at raising money for abused children.  She'll be working with ChildLine and the
National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) to raise $93 million dollars for the charity so that all kids calling the hotline will be able to get through to someone who can help them in their time of need.

A shortage of funds means that for every youngster calling the charities for help, another cannot get through to an adviser.

Minogue tells British newspaper The Sun, "Finding the courage to tell
someone about being abused is one of the most difficult decisions a
child will ever have to make.

"Sadly their cries for help are not always heard because ChildLine is
unable to speak to every child who rings the 0800 1111 number. We can
all help to change that by supporting the NSPCC's Child's Voice Appeal
and make sure those children no longer face their troubles alone."
