Dakota Fanning Is A Cheerleader

Awww, how cute is this?!? Dakota Fanning really is that sweet little all American girl...she just became a cheerleader at her high school! After being homeschooled for most of her life she recently started attending a private school and decided that she wanted to get involved.
"I am a cheerleader. Now everybody always wants me to do cheers. It's so funny."
She's really getting a sense of community at her new school.
"Cheerleading is so much fun, especially at your school because you get
such a sense of school spirit and you're proud of your school. I love
that. I'm the one that's on top of the (human) pyramid; I'm the flyer,
so that's fun too."

I'm a little surprise, I thought she would be more of a bookworm. She's so cute and I love the fact that she act and dress her age and yet she's very wise and mature and not to mention very talented young lady.

I agree, it's so nice that she's not trying to act like an adult. :) I think she's turning out quite grounded and lovely. The whole top of the pyramid thing makes me shudder, though! Those are the girls who get hurt the most often. Yikes.
She sure does act like a kid even the no brushing her teeth. That's an ugly shade of yellow.

She is adorable. I love her as a lil actress, she has played some highly emotional, difficult roles that most adult actresses couldn't do half as good. BUT her teeth are so yellow, whats up with that?

I actually feel sorry for her. Cheerleading is NOT fun. I did it for many years. It's horrible.
If it was that horrible for you why you continued being a cheerleader!!!????? That makes no sense!!! And it's fun if you enjoy doing it!! If you have SPIRIT!!!!!!!

She could get hurt and that might affect her film career. Bones, once broken, make it hard to exercise and she would have a hard time staying thin as Hollywood expects. Surely, there are other ways to stay involved in school.

i was the fly for my high school cheerleading squad as well, so can't comment on that, but... i can't believe that people are making fun of the teeth of a 14 year old girl.... sorry your adolescents was hell, please leave her (and other children) out of it...
She's an awesome little actress. For those who think she should get involved elsewhere in her school - I've been cheerleading for 12 years and coaching for 8. i have broken one bone in all my years - it healed fast and perfectly fine. Cheerleading is no more dangerous than any other sport you can partake in.
Please stop picking on a 14 year old girl, she doesn't deserve it and also it makes you look really sh**ty. The fact is, she turned out grounded and healthy after a life growing up in the biz and some of you hate it and are looking for things to pick at. Get over it.
Dakota looks amazing. I hope she continues this trend of being a real teenager and dressing like a she's a ray of sunshine. I can't wait to see what is ahead of her. And Dakota, those heels are bad azz!

oh please, that's what normal not chemically whitened teeth look like. she's grown up healthy and down to earth. and she's plenty talented! completely agree with stainedglass.
