Britney Spears Sells Her Home For $7.9 Million And Wants A Hot Dog
Talk about a new start. Britney Spears has officially put her Studio City home on the market for $7.9 million. If we all pooled our money together, perhaps we could... who am I kidding? The estate is 7,500 square feet and has three garages.
Rumor has it the singer is looking for real estate in the Calabasas vicinity, 90 minutes north from the heart of LA.
In other news, doesn't Britney look great in this photo taken yesterday? I'm really rooting for her. Although I heard a not so nice story while in Vegas this weekend.
I went to see a Cirque show and was talking to a few people who ran it. Turns out Britney recently came in to see the show and was visibly out of it. Sources claim the singer was "heavily sedated". When asked if the group could get a picture with Britney, she responded, "I don't know. Ask her..." and pointed to her agent.
Then Britney turned back to the group before they had a chance to get permission and said, "Do y'all have a hotdog?"

Those bipolar meds, the antipsychotics esp, if she's on those, can really make you out of it at first, and sometimes they will never work for you depending on your body chemistry. I hope that's what it is, she may needs a new med or need to get used to what she is on who knows. But I wish the best for her. She has my heart most of all the celebs.

so what, they've got her working out, gor her in some pretty outfit with nice make-up and new hair and go 'look she's all better now!'
it's a superficial change and i can't believe what a society we live in that people can look at her and think, 'she looks more attractive - thus she must be psychiatricly sound!'
i really hope that whatever psychiatric problems she has are really being treated and whoever's in charge of her is making sure she IS better rather than just making sure she looks beter.

I've been wondering all this time if she was on some strong meds. You don't go from acting like she was, to being so quiet, that easily. I'm happy things seem better for her, but is she happy? I hope so.

it can be difficult to get the proper cocktail of bipolar meds to make you function at your optimal level...they could still be tweaking her meds.

Britney may be on meds but she is NOT Bi Polar. Everyone who says she is is making a laughing stock out of those who truly are.
She is not "better". If she was better, her father would've stopped running her life as he is court ordered to do. The fact that he still is and will be for some time is proof enough.
I'm glad she's looking for a home outside of LA, hopefully there she'll be albe to truly recover and get some much needed peace. Getting the hell out of LA is the best thing she can do at the minute.
Absolutely correct , its an insult to anyone with bi-Polar , she had drug problems FACT why do people try to make excuse for her at the expense of people with other mental illness . its like the Britney the virgin all over again , untrue and PR.

She seems to getting back on track, it just takes time. That's why her dad is still around. And I agree with Gia up there, it is difficult to get the proper cocktail of meds, my sister-in-law is bi-polar too, and it took a few years to get everything complete.
She is never happy. She always have that dazed and confused look and when she she does smile - it look totally forced. She's not better. She shouldn't even think about promoting her music. She should be focusing on getting clean and getting her boys back (that if she loves her boys). Maybe she want to get out of the whole music industry for good but she has no choice because of the contract and that she owe Jive big time for screwing up 'blackout'. She owe alot of money to alot of people.

Calabasas is not that far from L.A. It's about a 20-minute drive on the freeway if traffic isn't bad. It is a nicer area, more open space, lots of horse ranches....maybe learning to ride horses would be good for her.

There are all forms of mental illness, and a long list of meds that are handed out to anyone suffering. Sometimes the dosages are wrong and it adds that spacey look. Even if she took a sip of alcohol while on meds it would make her loopy.

I can't believe that so many people think that it's a-ok to pop a bunch of happy pills. Humans have been around for a few million years, people and they have NEVER taken a bunch of mind-altering CHEMICALS. This stuff is NOT natural. It is POISON just like ecstasy and alcohol and meth and any other drug. The Pharmaceutical industry makes BILLIONS of the fact that so many people are brainwashed into thinking they NEED antidepressants to live. This is a complete and utter LIE. People are not MEANT to be happy all of the time. Life is full of ups and downs - that's the way it's MEANT to be! But if you truly ARE depressed, fix the problems in your life! THAT is why you are depressed, because you are doing something wrong - maybe you are in an abusive relationship, maybe you don't express how you honestly feel in a healthy, constructive way. There are many books out there which help people fix their lives WITHOUT drugs (like "Feeling Good", author: Burns) for example. Mind altering chemicals are NOT the answer. And the drug industry is even making parents think they need to give them to 2 year-old children!! How can people not see that it is all to prey on the clueless public to make a ginormous profit off of them!
One more thing, if you think that the wonderful FDA "protects" you against harmful drugs on the market, think again! Vioxx is just one example - Vioxx killed THOUSANDS, THOUSANDS of people before it was FINALLY pulled off the market! They DO NOT CARE about your health, they care about PROFITS. Wake up people! Do your own research when it comes to putting a pharmaceutical drug in your body - the FDA doesn't care about you! They get much of their funding from, you guessed it, the Pharmaceutical industry! Don't take my word for it, go look it up for yourself!
