Fact Or Fiction: Naomi Watts Hit A Photographer
Naomi Watts? Naomi Watts? While attempting to do a little food shopping, the crowd of people all vying for Naomi's photographed became too much to handle. People began to aggressively get the best shot and the actress allegedly hit a photographer in the scuffle. Also getting involved was the store's security guard. Here is a recap from Buzzfoto:
All was well and good and suddenly, according to sources at the scene, the number of paparazzi caused quite a scene and Naomi allegedly struck a photographer out of anger as she was trying to exit the market. A security guard also allegedly got into a scuffle with a paparazzo from an unscrupulous photography agency that were using aggressive tactics to get her picture. Naomi tried to keep her face down and walk alone during the incident. Out of respect for Naomi, we’re not showing photos of the incident.
So, they have pictures but they won't show them. What do you think? Did this happen? And if so, HOW DARE that paparazzi crowd! The woman is pregnant! She doesn't need additional stress so far along in term.
I love looking at the pics of stars but I say....WHACK 'EM! Sometimes these photogs just go to far.
Fact... the video of the incident was on the news over here in Australia. The photogs were harassing her and her friend and she started cussing them out, then went into the store but was blocked by another photog and pushed his camera, her friend another Aussie actress came out and started cussing too. Not sure exactly what the paps said to piss them off though, she was like "What the f*ck do you think you're doing?" These paps have no boundaries, there needs to be better laws to protect people from that shit. They have to stay a couple of feet away I think? It should be way more than that.

I'd say something went down... but I'm on Naomi's side. She's PREGNANT and they're putting her in a potentially dangerous situation. Horrible.

she is pregnant enough where the baby is safe if she was to fall or anything...however, the paps can be horrible, aggressive animals motivated by greed. some of them arent just doing a job, they are vicious.
i am sure some kind of mummy defense mechanism kicked in though & she probably did swear & shoved one out of the way & in typical media fashion it turned in petite pretty pregnant actress screams at & strikes a photographer.

They are sick, she's pregnant. I've seen the things they do to get a response. Any response just sells more pics for them. They do need better laws. I get that they are celebs and they sign up for this but sometimes they go too far.
she should hire a bodyguard - for christ sake she is pregnant.

When are the lawmakers going to finally do something about this type of behavior? Seriously, when I watch those videos of celebs just trying to get in and out of their cars, I CRINGE. Can you freakin' imagine? It's crazy.

If she did hit a pap, they totally deserved it. She is pregnant and they should have respected that and given her her space. Im pregnant, and I know if Im having a "bad" day, I dont take crap from anyone! I would have done the same thing, but probably would have made sure there was some damage done...either to the pap or his equipment, LOL!

i think a lot of the paparazzi WANT celebs to hit them. it's just another opportunity for money. they probably get more money for the shot since it's scandalous, and then they can sue the celebrity.
Aboslutely true. Anything to make more money, even if it means harassing pregnant women.

Team Naomi here as well if it is true. When IS this going to stop?? Pregnant celebrities, celebrities with infants and children in public, should be off limits or at least be 25 ft away from them if it's so important for that fricking shot. And if it's private property then back off. It's just really creepy.
