Scarlett Johansson Is Not A Tourist Attraction
We keep hearing more and more diva stories about Scarlett Johansson. It looks like Hollywood really has gotten to her. This past weekend she was in NYC when a doorman asked for a photo, but she wasn't having any of that!
The actress and fiancé Ryan Reynolds hit the Lower
East Side spot National Underground the other night "wearing matching
bowler hats," our spy said. Even though Johansson was "dressed down in
a black blazer and jeans," the doorman recognized her. Our spy said
that "the doorman asked to take a photo with Scarlett" but that she
snapped, "I'm not the Statue of Liberty," before heading inside.
While I understand her wanting privacy on vacation and I get that celebs can't always say yes to a photo, there are definitely nicer ways to turn a guy down.

it amuses me some of these celebritys one minute there nobody and all they can think of is " i want to be successful, famous and rich" and when they are its like " oh will people stop taking my picture,why do they want my autograph, want interviews oh what ever will i do" oh please you make millions of dollars per film or music deal you have the opportunity to do anything that most people wouldnt , you get sick you get best care, you fly its private or first class. the price of fame is paps, autographs, and admiration of your craft and your life . jeez get over it already!!!

It's considered pretty unprofessional to ask for autographs when you're on the job. But yeah, if this is true it's really bitchy.

Ive said this before and again. She is a very nice person. Can u imagine how annoying that would be after awhile when your just going about your business being asked for a pic all the time. I mean what the hell is a pic going to do, and worst, some people have ill intentions and they use the pics for bad things. She is a wonderful lady.

Yes. You're right. We're TOTALLY singling out Scarlett. Perhaps we're jealous of her diminutive stature, or her down-to-earth ego, or maybe her tremendous acting abilities, or her melodious voice, or overall graciousness in dealing with the general public? Just kidding. She possesses NONE of those qualities I just listed. I DO know that I'm not jealous of this overrated ho. There are a trillion actresses/singers more attractive and likeable than Scarlett. And the more I read about her, the more I absolutely cannot effing stand her.

I'm not a fan but I do feel sorry for her and other celebs who are constantly photographed. I try to put myself in their shoes. I can't even begin to imagine not being able to go for a coffee with my husband without my photo being taken by dozens of paps. Yes, they chose the profession but who would really want to be bugged every time you go out? And who could really be gracious about it 100% of the time? But because people like to hear nasty news about celebs rather than positive stuff, you probably won't ever hear of all the pics she has posed for. ~ Nyx ~
I don't buy the "They chose it, they deserve it" line. In the old days, photograpers were not so intrusive. They would be called if the star/starlet was giving a press conference or permission for pictures (think Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, etc). Sure, random pics were taken here and there, but there was not this frenzy, which has actually put people's lives in danger. Now, regarding this story, IF it's true.........I do think she could stop for one nice fan. But we don't know the whole story, I've seen "fans" shout out curse words to these stars, and treat them terrible. No one "signs up" for that.

I don't think she has a banging body at all...go to any high school and you'll find over a hundred nobodys with much better bodies. She's very short and has an odd body if you ask me. She didn't graduate college (did she even go?) She didn't do menial labor to pay the way, she never paid her dues working for "somebody else" she hasn't had to make any of the tough choices most women have to make to get a decent paying job to support themselves and their family so why should I respect a twenty something bimbo who really cannot act and yet gets paid millions, MILLIONS, to be in movies that most people don't even like. How many hours a day does a mid to upper level corporate woman have to spend with the perfect smile and hand shakes and do it all while actually having to be smart, and educated, and better than a man at what she does. If the only asset she has is that she photographs well enough to make straight men want to have sex with her than she better get over her pretty little self and use those assets while they are still high enough on her chest to be worth something.
She probably turned down 39 requests that day before she told someone she's not a tourist attraction. I think she has every right to say that..
sometimes you're just not in the mood. when i saw her and asked for a quick pic she happily obliged. maybe the doorman was an a-hole.
