What a turn out! Dita Von Teese, Petra Nemcova, Rachel Zoe, Naomi Campbell, and Matthew McConaughey all flew to Milan to attend the Dolce and Gabbana fashion show held in Italy during fashion week. How fantastic!

And let’s talk Dita’s skin. I had the opportunity to interview her a few months back and she said she did not powder her skin or wear any special sunscreen. Dita insists she is just naturally this pale using a regular 30 SPF. Perhaps the black hair is making me hallucinate?

I’m naturally very pale. In high school I avoided sun like the plague and was very pale- so much so that one kid stopped dead in his tracks, wide eyed, and said “Holy! You’re PALE!” (lol) However, I think, as someone mentioned above, that Dita’s legs are a more accurate representation of her real skin colour. As pale as I was, my skin wasn’t flawless milky white liek that. More like pinkish & veiny! But, the flash of the camera can make you look extra pale & less flawed due to the flash of light on your white skin. So she might be telling the truth.
Holy crap…why do we care about Dita and what has she done to become famous?
Was it that video of her sticking a stilletto up her junk?
Who cares if she’s pale? She looks like she hasn’t seen the sun her entire life.
Sunscreen and good habits are one thing, but it’s not healthy to eschew the sunllight entirely!

Well one of the girls at work actually IS this pale and I know for a fact that she comes to work with no makeup on. I think if Dita tries soft pinks, the coloyr would not look this harsh. It’s the fact that she dyes her hair black and has red lipstick on that makes it look that much paler.

I do not know what these people thinking when dressing up. Looking at some of their choices I would argue they have nothing to think with. Dita’s dress looks ugly and outdated as usual. Rachel (Chupacabra) Zoe looks pathetic. This woman is crazy, messy, and appears too dramatic and psychotic when I watch her show. I just recwntly learned how young she is either late 20ies or early 30iies. Man, she looks OLD. Those parenthesis around her lips (perhaps due to weight loss) need some plastic surgeon intervention. What a pathetic crowd of people who think they are hot.
Its fashion sweety your not going to like everything. let people be who they wanna be. If thats getting plastic surgery or wearing unique outfits let them! Thats why they call it fashion because its different. and id like to see you out there , i bet you would come no where close to what they have to offer, obviously thats why there on the web and your not.
Rachel Zoe = Vintage
maybe she wants to be vintage or used to be vintage. Again, when I watch her show she looks messy, unclean, dresses are always disorganized, and it feels filthy. Her assistant needs to wipe that 3 days old eyeliner she slept on with after a party clean and reapply in a different manner. Sometimes we mean to look one way but it just does not come off well, at least on some people.
What is your obsession with Dita von Teese? What has she ever done to deserve all this attention? She’s not attractive, even in a vintage way. She looks like one of the undead. And yet every time I come to this blog, there’s a photo of her.
I dont even get what she’s famous for. All I can remember is she either cheated on or with someone. She’s so not attractive.
Dita’s face and arms usually appear much lighter than her legs, and I’m assuming her legs are a more accurate representation of her natural skintone. The other reason why I’m not buying her story that she’s actually that pale is because if she was, she would not be getting by on SPF 30 without getting sunburned. The paler you are (i.e. the less melanin you have to protect you from UV rays), the higher SPF you need.

no powder my butt!! what a blatant lie. i am actually getting very tired of her style. her uniqueness & mystique have worn off. her skin may be smooth & all, but she still looks old. this look works for some in their 20′s, but she is about 35 & its not working anymore. i am all for dressing up & looking special all the time, but this is over the top. aaarrghh the color contrasts on her face, black, white, red are too severe for her age.
