Giada de Laurentiis graces the cover of Page Six Magazine this week. Known best for being the seductive chef behind Food Network’s Everyday Italian and author of two New York Times best-selling cookbooks, Giada talked about her childhood in Italy, success as a renowned chef, her favorite food spot in Manhattan, and happiness as a wife and mother.
Giada admits she doesn’t wear the highest of necklines on her show, but denies an intentional sex appeal approach:
“Porn? I’m not doing porn! What the hell are people talking about? [It’s not] PBS-style cooking. I mean, I love Lidia [Bastianich], but [she’s] kind of boring. And Mario Batali [I] love to death…but he’s not romantic or sensual. Those are the things I bring to the table.”
Everyday Italian is now on a break, but that only means Giada found a plethora of other projects to fill her plate. Her new show, Giada at Home, a fourth cookbook, her dress-designing husband Todd, and Jade, her “peanut” of a daughter keep her more than occupied.
There was once a time where having children, or even marriage, didn’t seem to be on the menu.
“I never cared about marriage. I was more worried about working, and really didn’t think I’d have kids. Then Todd turned 40 and I guess he thought to himself, ‘I think I’d like to marry Giada.’”
Giada hopes to instill an appreciation for her home country in her daughter, by singing her the Italian lullabies that were once sang to her as a child. Her husband has other plans to throw into the family pot.
“He will always tell the story of how his grandmother would take him to McDonald’s and Burger King. And he says, ‘I can’t wait to take Jade.’”

I love Giada! I can't wait for her to be back on the food network. I need some more recipes.

She looks like Madchen Amick, the one who plays The Duchess on Gossip Girl.

Finally! I do not think I have ever seen Giada here---MORE! MORE! I have missed some great sporting event moments switching to her show during a commercial and I cant turn away! YummY!
I like Giada's show and can't wait for it to return, but I'm surprised she lowered herself to essentially bad-mouthing her competition. And sensuous? She has the body of a 12-year-old boy. Now I'm actually glad Rachel Ray (not a formally trained chef) beat her on Iron Chef. LOL
I think she is fill of ****! With that ****ed up nose she has! She thinks way too highly of herself...... W A Y.
I LOVE watching her cook and how she present herself on TV. I think she is very pretty but how the hell does she stay so skinny???
If i thought she was smug and self centred just a little bit she has proven it even more. Im sorry i cant tolerate her, her show is over rated and exaggerated being Italian myself and coming from growing up with Italian food she makes out like she is the first and only to discover this and that when it comes to food. Im sorry i used to like her but i have no respect for her anymore not just with this article but i have read other stuff of her and my respect has gone down. She is damn lucky with everything she has and i hope she appreciates it.
Not a fan.
sorry she looks like a major biatch trying to pull her best demure lady appeal. Just look at that hookey nose over thin lips. Kinda like Paris Hilton.
I LOVE this dress!

Just a tramp who isn't pretty at all.
All she needs to complete her look is a wart. Seriously, that face is like a witch Halloween mask. The nose!
I'd watch Lidia over her anytime of any day. It's not even close.
what a little snot. mario batali has more talent and experience in his little finger than she could ever dream to have. that man can absolutely throw down, and all she does is throw her cleavage around and make bad food (ive tried many of her recipes and so many of them are just gross). and Lidia, who is a highly respected and worked her way up from nothing as a poor immigrant to the country, unlike Giada's pampered privleged life born into fame and fortune. she's a brat.
i never Iiked it her but thought her to be a bit more humbIe nevermind i guess on that, dang
I'm shocked her tits are not hanging out in this picture, she's a skank!
****
she's a total sl-ut
She's famous for cooking...she's not trying to be a model or world's most beautiful woman. What's up with all the bashing her looks? She's a chef, and if you actually tried her recipes you would find out that they are really good! p.s. Many people think she is beautiful, and you know that she is much better looking than you.
12 year old boy? ****? You guys (gals, I'm sure) are just fat and jealous. She's incredibly hot... I hear she can cook, as well. She has great enthusiasm & energy. And god bless her assistant for always putting that spatula just out of reach.
Agreed. I'm pretty sure the only people who think she's unattractive are super ugly. And probably fat too. Ugly/fat/both girls are always saying things like that.
Purple looks more graceful,very beautiful.
