What a terrible thing to have to go through. Parents are supposed to be rocks in our lives. I couldn’t imagine having to cut ties with one of mine… especially in this fashion.
According to the NY Post, Lindsay has joined both her sister and her mother in taking out an order of protection against Michael Lohan, her father.
ANOTHER day, another Lohan family drama. Lindsay , who told us several days ago that her father, Michael,
“needs to be on medication,” is so scared of him, sources said, that
she’s “taking out an order of protection.He’s behaving so erratically
that she’s terrified he’ll do something to her. She’s contacted her
lawyer to arrange this.” Lindsay’s sister, Ali, “already has an order of protection against him, as does [mom] Dina. No one is speaking with him until he gets help.” Lindsay’s rep declined to comment.
We all see how obsessed Michael is with fame, so maybe it’s the best move for all of them.

I think she’s doing that out of spite more than anything. Her father is extremely immature and acting stupid but I don’t think he’s dangerous or anything. I bet this is really Samantha idea!!

I was suspecting for years that Lindsay probably witnessed abuse and was probably abused too.There must have been a reason why Dina had restraining orders against him and it was wellknown to Long Island that he had drunken fights with her and neighbours embarassing Lindsay as a litle kid,also Lindsay wrote some of it on her songs.As the oldest she probably tried to make peace with him but its pretty clear he seems out of hand and wants to take over her life and control.He realy is out for money and doesnt care about her.I believe the whole family is realy scared of him.Lindsay seems terrified and its not accidental Dina has stayed silent over this,she must be scared too.

i kinda know whats LINDSAY’s going through im scared of my dad sometimes 2 idk if i would get an order of protection against him but sometimes i lay awake @ nite hoping nothing happens and i knew her father hit her and her family bcuz hes not all the way there and in the music video 4 “CONFESSIONS OF A BROKEN HEAR (DAUGHTER 2 FATHER)” she shows how she really feels and what happened 2 her and her mom and how scared she was and thats y she seems so messed up u guys just dont get the fact that she was scared and still is scared and didnt know what 2 do so she had a lot of problems i already went through LINDSAY’S DRAMA and some of Britney’s and a couple other things ad im only 15 so next time ur gonna judge some1 try find out wut their backgrounds like! Sounds afwul. I miss my dad so much that it hurts, so i can’t imagine going through your life without the rock that your dad could be for you. Hope he changes his perspectives. Any parent wishes for their children to be happy first and far most, so our goal – be there for them no matter what.

He is definetly bipolar. My own father is the same way and when he refused to take his meds for over a year he became so unstable we had to institutionalize him until he was balanced. What a shame.

Its such a sad state of affairs when you can see someone hurting themselves and/or others ( umm Brit Brit ring any bells ) and there isnt anything you can do about it until someone gets seriously hurt.
