Pink Hates Her Name

She doesn't like Pink. She doesn't like Alecia Beth Moore. So what should we call her?
That's gotta be tough - not liking your name, but being a brand which means having to keep it. Poor Pin Alec thing...

Mommie Dearest really has impacted a lot of people. Whenever I am in my closet and I come across wire hangers, I replay that scene in my head from the film. Though for me, I have the opposite feeling - I LIKE wire hangers as they take up less space in my closet.Â

she should have thought harder when deciding on a stage name. not everyone can be prince and change their name to a sign.

wire hangers do your clothes no justice. I got rid of all ours and use wood or plastic. Pink should embrace her name. I like the name Alecia Beth Moore.

Yeah, she sure sounds like it all of the time doesn't she? Is she so narcissitic that she has nothing better to blabber on about? Yes, Pink is a dumb name. It's what little girls call their dolls when they're six yrs. old. Does anyone give a cr@p? No.
Why doesn't she just pull a Diddy & arbitrarily change it for no reason? She could use Purple.
Bed Bath and Beyond has fantastic hangers that are skinny, covered in a felt like fabric and curved on the ends. So, they take up little space while keeping clothes secure and avoid the "pokey" sleeve things that wire hangers can leave.
I have those hangers. Kinda puts the "No wire hangers" thing to rest, now, doesn't it? She should call herself Alicia. It's a nice name and will give her image a little femininity.
I think Alecia is a fine name. True it sounds funny when you say Alecia Beth Moore but who does that anyway? She could just be Alecia Moore.

It's true, when your parents name you it is the name THEY want for you. As a grown-up (!) there is no reason YOU cannot ground your self with a name of your choosing. The problem is, there are too many choices and you're trying to choose a spiritual name with a practical mind. Start with the religious/philosophical framework you best identify with. Then, choose a truth or belief that you can't live without. For example, I've always loved the name "Dharma" which in Hinduism means ethics/duties. The point is, the name should mean something to the essential you.

she shoud put back her reall name because you only have 1 life and you wont to stay the same person the hole time I think you should keep your real name :{ :[ :} ;]
