DJ AM Pays Respect To Chris Baker At Memorial Service

{I don't have the rights to post the pictures of DJ AM after the accident. Click here to see him.}

Despite the request of his doctors to rest and stay home, Adam Goldstein stunned mourners at pal Chris Baker's memorial service on Monday in an attempt to pay his respects.
With his burn and neck injuries covered by bandages, DJ AM attended the service in Los Angeles.
For those of you who haven't heard the connection, Baker was Travis Barker’s assistant.

The drummer was unable to attend the service because he’s driving back from South Carolina to L.A. after spending a week in hospital following the plane crash. I have a feeling Travis won't be flying for a very, very long time.

glad to see that he is recovering.

He doesn't look to be in serious condition so he should have a speedy, healthy recovery. It's kind of dumb not to take the doctors orders. He is risking infection by being in public trying to get media attention. Most people never heard of him before but he will cash in now.

most people haven't heard of him before? are you kidding me? or do you count for most people? because DJ AM is a very, very respected DJ and people pay craploads of money to see him spin. and he's not going out to get media attention, he's attending a memorial service for someone that died! it's so sick when people like you come here and say things like this. i think you're the attention whore.

Anonymous I dont know if you have ever had 3rd degree burns before or even 2nd but you can be around people . He is just supposed to rest so that other issues might not happen.

I personally have had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my arm. (Will have been 2 years since in Feb 2009) I had to go around people for it. No it's not fun to tell people watch out or things like and have to explain and neither is the pain that comes with it for the most part.
I do hope for the most part that both DJ AM and Travis are able to recover quickly from their injuries and dont loose too much nerve damage. Plus I also hope they are lucky enough to have good doctors that as shallow as it might sound they dont scar too badly.( i got super lucky on that myself and I'm normally a horrible scar type person.)

"people.com" has a bit closer picture. I'm really happy he looks as good as he does! I thought I had heard that his scalp was badly burned too. It is remarkable that he is doing so well. I mean how many people survive a plane crash?! And, I can totally understand his desire to attend the memorial. This was a friend of his.

his neck was definatley burned....probably most of his hair, and it looks like eyebrows and facial hair too. He looks good...not as burned as we all thought (although who knows what's going on where we can't see), but he does look "sickly" probably more from stress, deression, etc...and not due to his injuries. He looks good though...I wish him a speedy recovery***annie***
