The Daily Mail has photos of police officers helping Heather Locklear get into their car as well as instituting a test of sobriety. From the shots, it looks like Heather couldn't get into the vehicle on her own.

What's up with your news? A little behind? These were released by tmz yesterday
Question from an european girl: How do those police pictures (Nolte, Grant, Hilton,.. and now 'Sammy Joe') get to the press? Are american police men that corrupt?
Well I am sure some are, but the reason there are pics of arrests are in LA there are paparazzi EVERYWHERE so celebs are being photographed going to the store, driving, being arrested, ect!
What happened to her?! I've always been a fan (since her "Dynasty" days) and am so sad to see this kind of thing. Plus, she's ruined her beautiful face and unique features. I wish plastic surgery would be outlawed, except in cases of true need. I hope she can work through these issues.
Usually I have no sympathy for celebrities who get DUIs or drive around impaired, but her mugshot just breaks my heart! She obviously has a lot of issues and I hope she gets through it.
I guess the 'committed suicide' story was true. I would love to know what is going on with her little head of hers. I'm like the poster above, I too usually have no sympathy for celebrities getting DUI's but there's something about her - I can't help but feel sorry for her, it's really sad.
Just speculation here, but it seems like the break-up with Richie Sambora was the beginning of all of this. I may be totally wrong, but she seemed happy while they were married. If you think about it, Tommy left her for a more-endowed Pam Anderson, Richie left her for a younger Denise Richards.....and that would be enough to send many people over the edge. Again, pure speculation. But she does have kids, and I hope she can get her act together for their sake. I'm really rooting for her.

Hmmmmm..the pap's just so happened to get it all on film, huh? Makes me beleive they were folowing her around (as usual), and I bet they called the cops on her themselves after notcing her strange driving....all for the "scoop". I do feel bad for her....not to condone anything....but her marriage breaks up, supposedly by her best friend, she goes to rehab (or whatever that was), she's obviously on meds because of that, then this happens. hope she gets better soon. ***annie***
My husband worked for her many yrs ago (when she was with Tommy) for about 2 weeks. He said she could not have been a nicer person to work for, she was making lunch for him and his crew, gave him a bottle of Dom Perignon champagne, autographed pictures etc. She was very down to earth and sweet.
If you think about how many years she has been in the spotlight, it is actually pretty amazing that she has endured so well without negative publicity. Even throughout her divorce (s) from Tommy and Richie, she took the high road.
Her family (parents and sisters) all live within the same community and appear to be very close (my husband also works for the family), so I am sure they will rally round her. She and Ava will be just fine.
The press has always been pretty good to her, so let's just help that pattern continues!
I feel sorry for her daughter. The kid's parents are a mess. :(

She should get back together with Richie Sambora and call it a day.
True, this is old news...everyone else had the pics right after it happened. I have to say, this photo makes me sad, and that's not usually my reaction when celebs get arrested. But there's something in those eyes that's so lost....maybe I'm nuts, and I've never met her, but she has always seemed like a very nice, genuine person, and for all her success, it seems life hasn't been that kind to her on the romantic front.
