Salma Hayek Remains Friendly With Ex Fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault

I should hope so. The man is the father of her child, Valentina. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault attended Balenciaga's fashion show in Paris together Tuesday morning.

While the couple was not romantically affectionate, they didn't leave one another's side and presented a united front. 

"[They were] very friendly together, looking happy," said one attendee. "They weren't holding hands but were definitely side by side." 

Some sources are claiming that Salma and Francois are slowly working on getting back together, while others believe they already are but intend to keep it quiet. Time will tell. Either way, it's nice to see these two keeping their friendship alive. Valentina will be most grateful.

The couple's public outing comes just weeks after they were spotted together in Los Angeles. It also caps a low-key week in Paris during which Hayek, 42, and Pinault, 46, have spent a great deal of time together privately. 

On Thursday, Hayek and "F.H.P." (as friends call Pinault) had afternoon tea in the gallery of the Plaza-Athénée Hotel. "They seemed very comfortable," said an onlooker, "with Valentina playing on the couch between them."

And on Saturday, Pinault chauffeured Hayek and his young daughter away for a weekend outside the city.
