Kate Beckinsale and her 9 year old daughter Lily were shopping in Los Angeles yesterday. I usually adore everything Kate wears. While the outfit she has on now is pretty tame and nice, the hat is making me do a double take. I kind of like the whole boho street thing, but it's not what I'm used to on Kate.

i think she usually always looks great, but the winter hat with the summer top is a bit much...it does look like she is trying a little too hard.

Hate. She's too pretty to be dressed like a bum. With high heels. LOL.
The outfit without the hat to mix it up would be *booooring*. She's gorgeous and it looks great. I live in Hawaii and locals mix summer and winter all the time...when you have nice weather all year its fun to play around with otherwise plain, boring summer outfits that you wear all the time.
I adore her. I wouldn't like the hat on other people, but I think she can pull it off. She is gorgeous. I love her hair.

The hat is NOT doing it for me.
hate it. hat & shoes yuck. makes her look trashy/cheap.
I love everything except the shoes, they totally don't match the rest of the outfit. And maybe I'd change the jeans to non-skinny ones. I think she can pull off the hat.

it probaby ONLY looks good on her. if she were 5 foot and 150lbs - not so much.
