Hugh Hefner Confirms Break-Up With Holly Madison

Hugh Hefner confirmed his romance with Playboy bunny Holly Madison was over, exclusively to Us Magazine, stating,
I had planned to spend the rest of my life with Holly. I was road kill a couple of weeks ago. We tried to have a baby earlier this year and it didn't work out," he said. "She [Holly] became very depressed."
I wonder how this will affect Kendra and Brigette, seeing as there were rumors of them not getting along with Holly.
Do you think this will be the end of "The Girls Next Door"? Or will there be a new bunny vying for Hugh's affection?

They've all already confirmed they'll be involved with a season 6. So whether or not we think it's going to be over is irrelevant; it's not over even if the 'romantic' relationships with Hef are.

No, Holly and Bridget and best friends, literally. It's Kendra who was always the one who they always kind of conflicted with, though they were still friends. Anyways, they are all signed on for a season 6 and Kendra also confirmed that they are broken up. I guess it's just Hef and Bridget now.

I'm sure they have all been replaced as I type this. Actually, I have heard that twins are in Hugh's future. They are 19, so I have a feeling the Holly and that other girls were just getting too old for him.

i think we take hugh's bachelor lifestyles too literally. i'm sure he's actually hurting over this, and has in the past. i'm sure he's getting the replacement bunnies as we speak just to keep up with his image, but dude put a lot of effort into this "relationship", including making her a star, and now he's alone. so sad...
i saw a clip of Holly telling a tmz camerman that they were not together...you could hear her voice crack just a little...just know she's so sad over her puffin boo! ahh.

So what I got from the interview that BOTH Holly and Kendra said on the Chelsea Handler show Hef told them they were going thru a "transition" and Kendra said there were random "skanks" starting to sleep over and she now locks her self in her room. But in the interviews both revealed they already had new man. Holly said that she was "friends" with Chris Angel and Kendra said she was with a football player. I think they probably thought they were being replaced especially Holly being the first girlfriend and all it doesn't surprise that she would leave if she felt she wasn't the "it" girl anymore.

I just watched the video of Holly telling tmz that they broke up and frankly she didn't seem that upset. I always wanted them to stay together though, they seemed like they really cared for each other. What i don't get is why they had to break up because he couldn't give her children, I understand that it's what she wants but why couldn't she stay with him and get pregnant another way ? Would you leave your husband because he couldn't give you children? Of course I'm sure most of our husbands don't have a whole gaggle of other girlfriends lol.
He's in his 80's, still married and does not want really any more children. She's in her 20's, and wanted to get married and have a big family. I wonder why it didn't work out?
I've read that Kendra and her Philadelphia Eagles boyfriend, Hank Baskett, got engaged on Sept 22nd. I haven't read anything about Bridget and Hef's breakup, but who knows.

I read that Holly has her own condo. We saw Kendra buy her condo on the show. I don't think there are new girls I think there is less Hef on the show.

The quote I read said he told her he would not marry her or have a child with her so she moved out. Then the tabloids said they actually tried. Who knows, hey who cares!! She's made enough cash off of it to go find a man her own age.
I wish the best for all of them. A lot of people think that they used Hef to become famous.. well whatever the case- I still love all 3 of them. I think they are all fabulous. I hope it's not the end of the GND.
