Christie Brinkley Takes Out Restraining Order On Ex-Husband
UGH. This whole thing has gotten SO messy. I really feel bad for their children going through this right now. Christie Brinkley has just filed for a restraining order and a "motion for post-judgment relief," against her ex-husband Peter Cook.
Their divorce only recently became final, and now Peter wants to tell his side of the story. He did an interview on 20/20...here's a quote from his chat with Diane Sawyer.
Cook, 49, who has admitted to having an affair with an 18-year-old assistant and an online pornography habit, told Walters during his interview for Friday night's 20/20 broadcast, "I'm not the ... pervert that I've been painted to be."
While nobody likes to be painted as the bad guy, that's what tends to happen when you cheat on your wife. I wonder if doing this interview is going to change anybody's public perception of Peter.

Is it wrong to look at porn on the computer?
Being married to a super model obviously isn't all that it's cracked up to be. That said, he should keep his mouth shut. He's embaressed himself enough.

I always thought Christie was one of the ugliest "super models" I've never liked her fat face and wide grin...
Not changing my opinion...that's what you get when you are a married man, near 50 with small children who cheats with a girl who is practically a child herself. He brought it on himself and he needs to just go away quietly, regardless of who his wife is. I'd like to see how he explains/"justifies" this to his 8-year-old daughter!

Cheaters always think it's justified and look for excuses no matter how lame. Case in point..................

If their marriage had been stronger in the first place then maybe he wouldn't have had the need to jump into bed with an 18 year old. There is also nothing wrong with looking at porn on the internet. Maybe if she had shown a bit more interest... Taking out a restraining order is not a good idea. She should think of their daughter. What's done is done so at least be civilised to each other. To think they are adults. Sad.
