Jamie Lynn Spears Wants To Complete College

I think it's great that Jamie Lynn Spears spoke of plans to complete her college degree even after giving birth to her first child at 17. It gives other young girls something to think about who are in the same situation.
Lucky for Jamie, she has family around who are willing to help.
"I want to get my business degree. I could take online courses right now, but with Maddie being so young, it’s hard to sit down and focus, I’m going to wait until she’s a little bit older, and she can stay with my mama while I go to classes. I do want to go to college and get a degree."
Has anyone had success with those work from home programs? I see the advertisements on television but am never sure if they are legit.

Both my sister and my daughter are taking one online class this semester to finish up their masters degree's. However I don't know anyone that has done strictly online college. Just a class here and there.

I sincerely hope she does complete college. This weekend my husband and I were at our Alumni weekend at our university and we were talking about a girl who got pregnant in first year and was still able to juggle everything and get her degree. It would take financing but I think if you wanted it bad enough it is doable and Jamie Lynn definitely has the financing and means to get this done! Once you have an education nothing or nobody can take that away from you!

Vera- They are good. Especially for people with full time jobs, kids, etc. The only downfall is the price. Very expensive!

Do you realize that she is still seventeen years old and you are mostly like considered a grown woman? I hope someone someday calls your kids ugly. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
I am doing an online degree and i am LOVING it! I finished college and wanted to get an extra degree and decided online was the way to go. It's really great.
I take the majority of my classes online, and love it. I have three kids and a husband in the military, so the convenience is great. I work on it in my time!

Her face changed after her pregnancy. She used to be so cute! I think the same happened to Britney.
Good for her that she has goals in her life other than fame-related things. Most people in Hollywood get sooo absobred in it and make it their life, but she's remained so "normal." I could never do an online course because it would be all self-motivation and I have trouble with that. I'm just getting my degree straight up by going to class. I wish I could do an online course though, but I would NEVER get through it.
