Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are having a fun battle over their daughter Harlow and what her creative outlet will be. Obviously Joel wants Harlow to be musical, and even gave her a little piano that she can bang around. On the other hand, Nicole is hoping early ballet lessons will make baby Harlow a dancer.
Joel: “I have a feeling she’s going to be musical because she loves instruments. She has a little piano that I took the legs off and put on the floor.
She lays there and just bangs it.”
Nicole: “She’s going to be a dancer. I’m going to put her in
ballet (classes) when she can start walking.”
Either way, both parents agree it is up to their daughter to decide.
Joel:“I just want to give her the option to try whatever she wants.”
I say, why not both! 
I thought I was the only one who “blew out” flip flops… AWESOME!
OK parents I don’t understand why not just allow your children to grow up and have their own dreams. Why not a teacher, lawyer, doctor, police officer, business manager, or a fabulous blogger…SMH I would be happy if my daughter did any of these things. Thats just me. Not everyone is musically inclined/dance material.
Of course she will be both! And a songwriter, a pop star, actress, designer… all of it. It’s so obvious that she has the talent for everything… just like her parents.
