Love It Or Hate It: Sarah Jessica Parker

A very fashionable looking Sarah Jessica Parker dropped off her son James to school this morning and then jetted to a business meeting she had planned in Midtown.
Wonder if she feels pressure to keep up her look while running errands as such. I just came back a few minutes ago from picking up my daughter and the majority of the women there were in jeans and flats.
Now onto her look... what do you think about her gold vest?

i'm digging the shoes, the bag, & the scarf...but i'll pass on the vest...can't really tell about the dress.

Her son has HIGH WATERS on again. Favorite pants or not, SJP has enought money to have the same pants MADE for her son, just in a larger size. The shirts is a HIGH WATER too!

The vest works on her. But, does her son really like to dress like a street urchin? He needs a haircut in the worse way.

Oh, please, someone brush this child's hair. :-( SJP is on record saying ALL of her kid's clothes are hand-me-downs from her brothers' and sisters' kids. She said she has literally bought him one outfit in his lifetime. I am just glad he has apparently outgrown his purple crocs. Not my taste. I do love her, though, and I am sure James is a wonderful kid.

hideous cardigan, cute dress...her poor son is forced to wear hand me downs while she prances around NYC in 4 inch heels that probably cost more than his entire wardrobe. its great to want to teach your son values & gratitude & a work ethic & all that good stuff, but for heavens sake you are worth millions, at least shop for him at old navy & get him some new stuff that fits well & not just hand me downs from friends & relatives.

As others have pointed out, it is not a vest but rather a cardigan with gold on it. I love the look and would wear it in a heartbeat. The little boy seriously does look like the "smelly kid" in class and it would be nice if she put a little effort into his appearance as well. Boys will be boys, though, so maybe he refuses to look any other way?
Also, you have posted numerous pictures on this site of SJP dressed down running errands around town. She clearly doesn't feel pressured to dress up for errands and is probably heading to or coming from something that required her to dress.
