Jennifer Love Hewitt At A Charity Event

Jennifer Love Hewitt arrived to the" Annual Runway For Life" event held in Beverly Hills this past weekend looking gorgeous in a silk blue dress and high pony tail. I'm really loving that saturated blue color on Jennifer. When you have a formal event to attend, do you ever wear your hair in a pony tail? I know several people who feel that's a more put together look than going with your hair down. But I always go with mine down. Just curious.

I feel more secure with my hair down too. I only wear ponytails when I'm running errands and didn't have time to do my hair.
she's georgeous!!!

Love the color of the dress too. I am a ponytail on laundry or gym day. I would say hers is more "up" than a pony. When working, I would put mine up for events, just to be taken more seriously usually, when my hair was very long.

Love the dress! I have a very similar one, but in a light purple colour.

Good question... I love wearing ponytails to formal events (no tendrils!!). I think it's different and always stands out in pictures.

I am totally a ponytail girl. When I see someone (Angelina Jolie comes to mind!) with scraggly "down" hair, I always wonder why they don't throw it up in a cute ponytail and make it easier. But in my 20s, I always wore it down. So go figure!

Formal events my hair is down. The only time I put it up is when I am doing physical activity, like hiking, working out, cleaning house etc.
With such a beautiful backless gown, long hair would cover that area so I feel a ponytail is proper. With gorgeous hair as she has it looks great in any style- up or down.

That dress looks so good on her! And I always wear my hair up! It always gets in my face and bothers me, but I don't have the guts to cut it!
