Vanessa Hudgens Gets Advice From Tom Cruise

You know you've made it big when Tom Cruise is dishing out the advice for you!  In case you didn't know (yeah, don't feel bad, I had no idea either) Vanessa Hudgens is good friends with Victoria Beckham, who invited her to a Spice Girls concert.  Afterwards she went backstage where she got to meet Tom, Katie Holmes and Suri, and get some career tips.

"Tom was so sweet and such a nice guy, just telling me there isn't much that you can do [about being in the limelight]. It's just part of your life now, so you have to accept it. He is an amazing guy and I look up to him.  I was at a Spice Girls concert because Victoria invited me and Suri, Kate and Tom walk in... and I got to talk to them, they are all really great people." 

Although High School Musical is huge, I still think Tom lives with a little bit more of a spotlight than Vanessa. :)  And in other Vanessa news, contrary to reports that Zac Efron was attacked while the two were in London, it was actually Vanessa who took a beating!

"I actually got hit in the face! If anything, I was the one who got attacked, not Zac.  There was a guy who was walking down the street and I think he was a little drunk and he got pushed into the craziness of it all. He was blocking the door so our bodyguard had to push him aside.  I looked in the mirror and got a huge scratch and I was bleeding."
