Macy’s and its private label American Rag are running a webisode series called Ragged Road, following five students with music industry around the country as they meet with different luminaries. In order to promote it, they are offering one INO reader a $25 gift card from Macy’s.

I have a teenage son who loves to wear the types of styles that are featured in the video. I think its a great idea that they are promoting their line through these young musicians. It’s both beneficial to the musicians and to Macys. I would definitely purchase the American Rag style clothing from Macys. I am a frequent shopper at Macys. They carry the styles and products that I like for me and my family. They always have great sales too. If I won the gift card, I think the appropriate thing to do would be to purchase an American Rag item to help promote the line.

I think its cool that they expose newbies to the music industry, I don’t think it will be an accurate portrayal of what most who enter the music industry are subject too. It is a great idea and entertaining. I am sure this new clothing line will be a hit!
